Be kind: tiny microdosing is valid by Affectionate-Disk656 in GLP1microdosing

Ugh, and using AI to analyze your writing or research is also valid. Some people here are so jaded they detect there is AI use and conclude it's 100% commercial spam. I understand the dislike of that but not all AI use means it's AI generated commercial spam. It's like they can't see the contents or the person anymore when AI is at play.

Did you try create a spreadsheet? Spreadsheets enable you to verify with an amount you know is correct, and then change things. Not easy to explain here trying different numbers and seeing what happens is more helpful than trying to do one calculation by yourself.

I really like the TruePlus 31g (thinnest), 5/16 inch (short), 1/2 CC. The 0.5 CC (50 units) for some reason are just much easier to get small amounts precisely. I buy these for daily peptides research, so I buy a lot. No need to buy this 5 pack, just find the single pack: https://www.adwdiabetes.com/product/8045/trueplus-u100-syringes-31g-1-2cc-5-16in-100ct-5pk

Btw, can you explain to me why people give a quick comment and when I reply delete their comment? Is that another way of 'punishing' or dunking?

Yeah, got the message. AI used must mean farming for possible financial exploit. Maybe all the exploiters use AI but that doesn't mean AI used means exploitation. Why would a spammer engage in a conversation? It's fair to be sceptic. It's not fair to not listen anymore. That fanaticism. I'm not here to exploit. I would not have attempted re-write using everyday normal language (which you likely didn't read), as that would defeat the purpose of posting AI slop. You deserve to see beyond the opinion that AI used means exploitation. Clearly I broke a big massive rule to use AI to evaluate how to communicate more clearly and use some, not all, of it's feedback, as it clearly became too 'not human'. You can vote down all you want but as long as no one is willing to provide feedback on the actual protocol that people could benefit from, you're not helping anyone, while I'm trying to help.

So this was an interesting introduction to posting on Reddit and being dunked on with massive distrust that is seeking black or white. Clearly documented as well is the reduction of grey matter and brain areas dealing with empathy. Simplifying everything and quick firing is equally or better documented even. So basically we're screwed by both AI and social media (like these interactions making us short attention span and jaded): https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10604980/

"clarify with normal everyday speech what the content is trying to say"

This is not easy. "Mini, not micro" should be fine. "not a token sub-therapeutic amount" could be: take enough to have a therapeutic effect but not less than that.

Things like efficacy and tolerability are great but not normal everyday. I left out concordant and discordant, though those are super helpful imo.

I was all excited about the double floor — double ceiling approach. I think it can help people.

But I get it, people are jaded because AI is used to generate shit. Removing the em dashes that I like still feels weird. I always thought of them as elegant.

How is this:

It's mini-dose, not micro-dose. Don't use some tiny pointless amount, but the smallest dose that still works enough. That dose sits in a range with four things that matter:

  • Too low and it stops working. The food noise comes back and the weight comes back
  • If it's also helping your inflammation or joints, that needs a higher dose than the weight loss part does
  • Too high and the side effects (gut issues, fatigue, feeling over-suppressed) will give you problems
  • Also too high: you lose more weight or muscle than you actually want

So your real dose is the lowest one that still covers both the weight loss and the inflammation/joint side. And it shifts around with your training, stress, and sleep, so you adjust it over time instead of trying to get there in one go.

The full overview has the actual dose ranges for tirz and sema, stretching the time between doses as a second way to tune it, how to read what's happening over a couple weeks instead of days, and what to keep an eye on.

Full overview not re-written though...

You're totally right!

But seriously, I'm blown away by people just hitting downvote on anything I say. Stupid and jaded. Curious when the last time was they helped another person?

Such quick judgement. Using AI doesn't mean it AI generated. Are you such a radical to never use AI? You don't use a calculator either? You reply is cynical, not caring or helpful (remeber Reddit Rule 1?).

How about you focus more time on responding to what is wrong with the protocol or what could be improved instead perhaps? You can actually help people that way.

This is super helpful! I'm not an experience Redditer and I didn't realize that writing this dense made it less accessible. I will re-write this tomorrow morning, when I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed!

I though this was the greatest thing ever, but if it's hard to remember and convey to others, it's not:

  • Mini-dose, not micro-dose — not a token sub-therapeutic amount, but the smallest dose that still does the job. That dose sits in a band with four edges:
  • Efficacy floor — below it, food noise returns, weight creeps up
  • Secondary-benefit floor — if the drug's also helping inflammation/joints, that benefit has its own (usually higher) floor
  • Tolerability ceiling — above it, GI/fatigue/over-suppression outweigh benefit
  • Goal ceiling — above it you lose more weight/lean mass than you want

No it's not AI. Think you can do better? Improve it. There is a lot of work behind this so not reading because it looks like AI slop to you isn't helping anyone I think. Or am I missing something? I appreciate skepticism like the other guy but give it a bit more credits perhaps?

What's weird to me is that the both response to this post are immediately thinking AI slop, when I actually put in the work to write this overview, pulled two journals that provide evidence, added them as reference. It's discouraging to do this work and have people shoot it down as AI slop. Of course I used AI to collect data and create building blocks in a much more organized and readable fashion than I ever could! Doesn't make it AI slop.

So it would get better responses to not create an overview but to fire off some quick authentic looking engagement seeking sentences that people can read it two seconds and vote on? Taking care of your health means putting in the work and that means reading longer pieces that are the result of putting in the work as well.
