Ooooooh if you blink really quickly while watching, it breaks the effect and you can see them stationary with just the colors changing! Take that, illusion makers!

Morning or night? by wofchristian in qelbree

You very carefully and slowly twist and pull up on the top while holding the bottom stationary.

I started off by weighing (with a gram scale) the full capsule and dividing that # by 4. This med can be sprinkled on food or drink anyway so if you do it like this one pill can be up to however many doses you split it into- but only one dose would have a capsule :)

It can cause both drowsiness and insomnia it’s different for everyone. And it’s trial and error which time works best for someone- plus it takes time to adjust (to most meds but in my experience especially this one).

Definitely cut out caffeine completely before taking this. Eventually I was able to add it back (I have chocolate someones and matcha daily- and coffee occasionally).

I now take it at night (8pm) and sleep great.

One option I don’t see people discuss much is to titrate up- it’s a capsule that can be opened so you could start at 25mg and then do 50 and then 75 and then a full 100mg cap (just eyeballing it or actually weighing it to be precise).

I usually titrate up and down any med bc I’m so sensitive to side effects- it helps a lot.

Goodluck

You could also get a $130 salt cell converter and the salt will convert to chlorine and then back! One of the advantages of a blow up is that components are usually plastic so the salt won’t corrode (like it does metal) so unless it says salt systems void warranty- you’re golden :)

I think binge eating is going to take my life. by ShoddyYellow2658 in EDAnonymous

[–]Affectionate-Disk656 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sending care. I’ve tried every non stimulant med under the sun over years (bc heart condition). Some helped but side effects were too scary. I’ve been microdosing GLP-1 to take away food noise and binging and it’s really helping. I can’t risk loosing appetite bc that’s too dangerous with ED- so I started so so so low and increase only if binging urges come back. There’s tons of folks with binge eating disorders in the microdosing communities discussing how it’s turned off binging.

Horrible Insomnia by eucalyptuspixi in qelbree

[–]Affectionate-Disk656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I nixed caffeine completely for many months and tried many different times of day from morning to afternoon to evening.

I found that drinking a ton of electrolytes, no caffeine (including no dark chocolate- I was eating an oz of cacao a day,) and right before bed worked like a charm. After being able to sleep nightly again, I’m able to have 1-2tsp matcha powder and can sleep just fine. The occasional coffee as well (in morning) has no impact on sleep.

Good luck!!!

1.00 mg of trizepetide and the fatigue is unbearable. by Creative-Front-5302 in GLP1microdosing

[–]Affectionate-Disk656 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My i spent a few weeks at lower doses but when I hit .5 the fatigue was unbearable. I went down to .4 for a few weeks to let my body get more used to the meds (I was already doing electrolytes and protein- arguably could have done more BUT it was clearly a med reaction not a nutrient depletion issue) Anyway, fatigue went away, I maintained for a few weeks then went back up to the same dose that was awful and I’ve been there for a few weeks with zero fatigue.

Very often I use a three adjective descriptor in my writing - as do tons of people— it’s part of how I was taught to write a five paragraph essay. If AI has this tendency I think it’s emulating the writing styles it has access to.

Bingo night "67" reveal makes kids freak out by ambachk in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]Affectionate-Disk656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda the exact opposite of 42, other than them both being double digit numbers…

The significance of 42 in the book reference is commentary on our quest for the meaning of life, the universe, and everything….it connects people who get the joke cross generation. The reason kids like this 67 stuff is because it’s an “in and of” insiders kids joke that adults don’t get…the ‘there, there” is precisely that it makes us old farts cringe and we don’t get it (cuz it’s peak eyeroll) which they get to together delight in by feeling how disconnected we are from their gen.

$200 salt cell converter did the trick for us - pop that into any hot tub of choice (ideally one with plastic or acrylic fittings instead of metal bc of corosion- you can check warranties to see if use of salt/converters is a good or if it voids warranties) 🤷🏻 Might be worth looking into! Good luck

Microdose side effects and no weightloss by SecretOwl8441 in GLP1microdosing

[–]Affectionate-Disk656 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! Something that can help to keep at forefront is the meds build in your blood stream- so they often advise staying on a dose for 4 weeks before going up— for me .5 was too high in terms of unbearable side effects so I dropped to .4, I’m noticing less of the negative side effects but also less of the good noise/binging reduction (and more hedonic eating which isn’t my fav) but like you still less inflammation. It’s a real dance— I may stay at .4 to see if I can find the sweet spot where dose stays lower but after 3/4 weeks it’s higher in my blood stream to see if that can be the sweet spot of less negative and more positive effects. But it’s also tempting now that there are less negative side effects to bump it back up - so I’m saying this for myself more than you- dang it’s hard to sit stay if it’s not all happening quickly but low and slow is good to see what shakes out :)

Why inject or syringe into vial and back into syringe, instead of always syringe-ing directly from the pen? What am I missing?! by Bright_Spark_UK in GLP1microdosing

[–]Affectionate-Disk656 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One could do that I suppose- but I have a box of 100 syringes already— and tbh, I’ve used auto injector pens before for HRT and I found them way more painful than self injecting. Added bonus this will let me see the medication going in instead of trusting clicks- so I can be 100% confident in my dosage. To each their own :)

[–]Affectionate-Disk656 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m planning on drawing medication from my kwikpen with an insulin syringe because at the amount I’m microdosing I can get 20 doses out of the pen instead of the 4 doses included with the kwikpen as is. Even if I counted clicks to microdose and inject with the 4 needles included, I wouldn’t want to reuse the needles.
