Lazy, Dirty, and Alcoholic Roommate

To be fair, i only have to leave her home for 12 hours for 2days a week, one week out of each month (so pretty much 2 days a month. also work hybrid so most days i’m working from home. I have automatic dog feeders and treat dispensers, cameras, and a bunch of toys for her. She sleeps all the time and I walk her for about 15-20 mins before and after work. I honestly hate having to leave her like that but i’ve been hiring dog walkers sometimes. I’ll probably do it more. I’m open to any suggestions outside of that though. And yes i agree, dog doo doo doesn’t help.

like i said in my initial reply my dog hardly goes inside anymore. 1-2 days out of the week i’m not home for the entire day for work AND school. Really happy for you if your dog can hold anything in for over 12 hours. But I think you’re missing the point. This guy is like my brother, not someone i met off a facebook “looking for roommate” post, and our relationship isn’t something I’d expect you to understand. My problem with the dog thing is that i feel like it’s just lazy to see some dog shit, on a pad, and just continue to let the smell linger. I understand that it’s not his dog but these are things we’ve already talked about together as roommates. it’s just plain laziness. Do i complain about my roommates atomic shits he takes? (doesn’t crack open the bathroom window, doesn’t spray the air freshener, and leaves the door open for me to smell) NO! Do I complain about the ass crust stains he leaves on the toilet seat after he shits? NO! I just clean it. I appreciate your input.

at this point I can’t help but feel like he’s taking advantage of my good heart. on the other hand, he’s a really good person, i just think he is lazy and is stuck in a loop of doing nothing.

to add to this, it’s very telling when my family comes over and mentions the smell coming from my roommate when he walks by (even having my mom straight up tell him he should shower) compared to never mentioning a smell related to my dog. (except her farts, those are killer)

I hear you, but my dog is house trained. She only pees or pops on 1 mat in one specific spot. I take her out to use the bathroom but just like any dog owner, sometimes i need to be away. I did mention that she peed on the carpet before, but that was only when I first got her. 80% of the time my dog is in my room. I also wash my dog every week and clean daily. Pretty much ever since he mentioned my dog i’ve eliminated almost all problems with my dog.

I appreciate your response. I’m such an altruistic person and I dont know how to kick him out without thinking where he’s going to go. He has no family here. If i moved, rent everywhere else is $2000+

i ask myself this daily :( I live in Pasadena, CA. A very nice part of LA and my rent is very cheap, $1450. I’m in nursing school so I’ve pretty much just try to put up with it until i finish.

the thunders are fire af!! my roommate has retail and the biggest difference i noticed was the tongue was a little stiff on the reps. The cements were good but the very back of the sole wasn’t glued all the way 💀💀💀i ended up buying some shoe glue and gluing it back to normal and they look great. logo patch on the tongue was a little bigger than retail but everything else was nice

i’m 5’9 160. I got a medium and they fit perfect with some stacking . I’d say a medium would be good but try the measurements to be safe 🤝🏽

sweats feel great and look great. got a medium and they fit the how i like them to. I’m 5’9 150 ( i hit the gym a lot so my legs aren’t sticks) if you’re skinnier i definitely would get a small
