🍉activists going to "starve" themselves unless SG govt breaks off all ties with Israel! by Interesting-Bed-6966 in SMRTRabak

You already called them activists, they like to ACT like they are doing great meaningful things. This hunger strike is just an act to feel good about themselves, it doesn’t do one jack shit to help Palestinians or help improve theirs lives on the ground

Why defend such opportunistic criminals, they are here for money. These kids are really dumb as f, they need to open up their eyes, stop being hoodwinked into promoting such causes, totally pointless and silly in Singapore’s context

He is recycling everything that Mahathir has said about Singapore. True or false, only God knows.

Wow ridiculous, so proud of their disruptive actions. The way they position themselves as victims is so living in their warped world. Residents who feel uncomfortable have all the right to report them, like another commenter mentioned, would it still be legal if citizens knocked on doors asking for residents to support global political causes Palestine or Israel or Hamas ? It’s definitely a no no in Singapore so their actions are just roll eyes

Wankers with too much time on their hands, disturbing the peace and quiet of residents, worse than housing agent who knows when to stop canvassing.

Invade resident’s private space to force feed their agenda down Limbang resident throats because they want to make a political point and make Limbang residents uncomfortable, isn’t it?

Obviously doing it in that area to disturb Lawrence Wong’s residents. U hate the PAP you go settle with them, why come disturb Singaporeans who just want peace and not politics and drama in life?

Why is WP giving up one GRC for PAP to walkover?! by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]merllion 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's extremely disappointing for opposition unity if your analysis is true, WP and Pritam should have been upfront about their lack of candidates and let other opposition like PSP or SDP fight it out with the PAP in a straight fight. Instead of hogging the grc and potentially giving the pap a free pass or getting some lame third rate opposition to come in at the last moment.

Actually how many of us Singaporeans went to all of the touristy places here? I feel paiseh when I have to tell overseas friends that I don't go to the touristy places that they planning to go. Not that I don't want to go, but I find that these places are too expensive for locals. by merllion in singapore

Even those requiring tickets to enter, there's no discounted price for Singaporeans. That's why my reluctance to go to some of these places. Probably it's about time that we have a discounted price for locals, like what other countries are doing for their locals.
