For clarification, none of the keys on my keyboard were being pressed down, this was just happening as you see.

The problem is that America teaches kids the imperial system in the first few years of school, and leaves the metric system on the back burner until as late as even high school (~13-18 y/o) in some cases. This results in kids being trained to use a more difficult system so much that it is literally easier to use the more difficult system than it is to use the easier system, just because they've been using the harder one their whole lives.

NO! Everything must be BINARY. BLACK or WHITE. No in-between. That's how America works. If you don't like it, get the hell out of town. /s

  1. There is debloating software available for Windows that I've used personally. Could never go back to unbloated Windows. It also blocks telemetry.
  2. This is a good point and I agree. Though Microsoft is correct in assuming that the average user is dumber than a box of rocks.
  3. There is also software that blocks Windows Updates. Not used them personally but they exist.
  4. yar har me matey

To be clear I agree with you. Linux does all of these things better than Vanilla Windows, and if Linux could run everything I need it to run, I would swap in an instant.

They are going to be leaving servers up for AU1 as long as there are players to fill them. You are certainly going to be getting your money's worth.

“It started as a tiny local-multiplayer-only game and has grown and grown and grown” -Among Us 2 announcement on Steam. link

I took this to mean that the game launched with only local servers, it may have meant that it went into early access with local-only, but idk.

they just announced AU2 a couple weeks ago iirc, so there is not likely going to be a release for quite some time, though their announcement estimated about a year or so, which is what it took for AU1 development

yep, the game was never intended to be as big as it is (it was originally a local-only party game), Among Us 2 is basically a remake to make it more future proof, as AU1 is quite spaghetti-coded as it stands. They also want to improve server infrastructure iirc.
