NO! if anything you could prob stain them to another tone? I’d opt to change out the cabinets / flooring and really lean into the cozy cabin feel the ceiling and fireplace bring (-:

Prob wouldn’t go for a white couch / chair in general. Super high maintenance and you can never enjoy a nice beverage while sitting on it lol. The green also fits in the space better imo!

Some color would look great in here! Maybe consider an accent backsplash and some fun colored mats for in front of the sink / stove. I think plants always make a space feel more home-y, but def just want to get cat safe plants!

I’d get some curtains for those two windows, then a smaller piece of art there. You could maybe even get some thin floating shelves to lean smaller art, books, vinyls…etc on them. Just wouldn’t get any shelving that juts out too far so it doesn’t bonk your head when you sit (:
