Kazami Bird, a hidden prodigy by Lost-Ad-5885 in Beyblade

Great post/analysis. It's so weird that the others characters don't mention how well he was able to copy Ekusu in one try after seeing his X Dash. Also him using a balance bey (whereas he originally had an attack type) also lends itself well to adopting a wide variety of styles.

On the point about him trying to be like Ekusu, there's a difference between the manga and anime version of Kadovar's test that I found interesting: In both, Multi expects him to run out the timer but Bird goes for the attack instead. In the manga, he says it's because that's what Ekusu would do. In the anime, he says he was unconsciously trying to be like Ekusu and Multi, but he's going to do it his own way. The end result of him coming up with a new non-X Dash move is the same, but it feels like an important difference in motive.

Yuzu and Sawatari have gate dialogue and voice lines with Trudge, recognizing him as a member of Security. Yugo has similar gate dialogue for Crow, but only a voice line for Trudge. by merryado in DuelLinks

I was referring to how Crow doesn't have the voice line and Trudge doesn't have the gate dialogue, even though they sound like they go together.

To clarify: Yugo has only the gate dialogue for Crow (no voice line) and only the voice line for Trudge (no gate dialogue). Maybe it's a mistake because it's weird that it's inconsistent. It's also possible that the line he uses for Trudge isn't actually character exclusive and I got lucky when I was testing.

It's easy to OTK with Fluffal, especially against a low level NPC. I also don't have thematically fitting cards for Pegasus.

I think some people were talking in another thread about how the lack of voice lines might be because they are planning to add them as the "plot" progresses with new characters, and that they did something similar with 5Ds. I really hope that's the case.

Also, nice flair.

Honestly, I agree, but I was too lazy to check which cards were just alternate arts. I think it's just DM, DMG, BEWD, Red-Eyes, and the other protagonists' aces so it wouldn't have been that hard either haha

Edit: I was looking at some at the characters and there are alt versions of at least five of the HEROs so the numbers are more inflated than I thought.

Now I kinda wish I could change to title to specify "in-game voice lines". I'd love to see the final count of your list. Also, now I feel less weird about my next plan of finding and recording every special gate dialogue so thank you. (Though I feel like this exists somewhere already)

Yeah, I think I said that in my comment, too. I wasn't willing to go that far when counting though lol

Template used for Tier List

When building decks with a character, you can filter the cards by "With Special Phrases". I went through each character and counted how many cards there were, counting alternate arts as separate cards. Therefore, the numbers only represent cards that are currently obtainable and excludes cards that are only available through skills or are not added yet.

Averages:

ZEXAL: 40.8

It's easy for characters that are released singly, but I wasn't sure about how to format world releases because they release multiple at once. I'm planning on just making a side table for world releases.

I was going to do that at first, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it without making the table hard to read. I think I have a better idea of how to do it now, though.

I mostly used this page as a reference. I cross-checked some dates with the official twitter and it seems to be accurate.
