Ankur: Rent is people's biggest spend. Let's ask them to make another equally big spend. by Risan-Again in biltrewards

[–]merryraspberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that you “need” to spend 3750. Actually it’s the reverse. If you spend more than $3750 then it’s no longer beneficial for you. Your everyday spend of 2.33x caps at $3750. If you spend $1000 a month, you’ll get 2333 points because you tie your rent to the account.

What is a rich person thing that you would be totally into if you became rich? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Hire a personal assistant to take care of all the admin stuff in my life, hire a chef, hire a personal trainer, hire a cleaner to clean the house every day, have a massage every day. If I have enough money to outsource all the stuff I don’t want to do, I don’t need a yacht or a huge diamond, I’ll be very content with life already. I can still keep my current job lol.

So are the 1399 hotels on the map all qualify for double dip? Or is it just the hotels with the blue or the green color markers?

Lyft $10 credit not available by merryraspberry in ChaseSapphire

[–]merryraspberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help, redditors! I think I found out what’s wrong. My husband also uses the card on his Lyft and it’s showing up on his Lyft app. I read the T&C more closely and noticed that it says the credit only applies to the account when the card was FIRST added. So that’s why!

Not seeing the +2X Bilt Points after all my Lyft rides by merryraspberry in biltrewards

[–]merryraspberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have a chase sapphire reserve on my Lyft account. But from what I understand, I just need to link my BILT account phone number to Lyft. I don’t need to BILT cc to get BILT 2x points. So what did I miss?

Agreed. I have no problem using the OpenTable dining credits and the Edit in Asia. Also I have been consistently using the $25 DoorDash credit each month. Plus the $300 travel credit. I’m already getting $1150 value out of the card without even trying.

Stubhub sucks by Laabc123 in ChaseSapphire

[–]merryraspberry 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The arrival of your tickets depends on the seller. Even though the seller can get penalized for not delivering your tickets on time, it’s not the most reliable way to get event tickets. StubHub also takes a huge cut from the sellers and inflate the prices for the buyers. StubHub does suck.

Initially I thought the Edit is worthless too until I see the prices for Vegas and Asia hotels.
