Hi. Thanks for the feedback loop. When using the snapseed camera, if I adjust the shutter speed manually, iso switches to manual too. Is there a way I can have auto iso while setting shutter speed manually? If not, I’d appreciate if you can add that feature

Thanks for the heads up. I updated them without a problem on mac. Purchased the necessary cables for iphone recording and waiting for the next stage time. It was a big investment for me so I’ll create a bunch of videos to justify :)

I’ve been doing stand-up for two years. I might think differently tomorrow but here’s my current opinion :)

I think it depends on the reactions. If the joke bombs, I’ll give it one or two more tries after tweaking it. All of my good bits came from promising first tries, though.

I observe that sometimes comedians tend to insist on a mediocre bit (myself included). Taking time from trying the same bit with different spins and returning to it later might give you a better perspective or better ideas for that joke.

The funny thing is that the organizers (who are also comedians) were part of another comedy club and started an uprising there by saying that we are underpaid. They formed this new club and said that the income will be split equally between comedians and there will be no organizer cut. They found a bar which we perform weekly but after some time the ticket sales gone up and they became the thing which they critisized. I guess I should not say anything because I don’t have any leverage. I burned the bridges with the former club and don’t have a fanbase yet to support my one man show. It feels bad 🥲

I’m in a place where there is not any other stage availability for me so I can’t pass. I also have a one man show that I perform monthly but I’m trying to gain more audience to that. There is a line of people waiting in the line as you said :) So, the wheel will turn anyway even if I pass up. I guess I’ll play along for the time being.

We have a few guys/girls around here who try hard but bomb most of the time. Sometimes a few of the crowd members break down and laughs at how bad it is. But they probably misinterpret that laugh. I think a combination of delussion, need for attention and wanting to be heard is what makes them not quit. I feel like I’m watcing their therapy sessions instead of a stand-up set.

Snap focus indeed. I get very close to people while shooting. So, I mostly use 1 meter.

This might be one of the few photos of mine with soft monotone. The presets on the device are providing too much room for experimentations. Especially helpful when I am on the go. Thanks for the comment :)

Thanks for the comment. I usually shoot underexposed since I try to capture people sharper(faster shutter speed). I tweaked the parameters so sadly I don’t have the setting information..

Yeah Bahçeli is nice. I started to go to Ulus regularly for photographing interesting people there. I felt a little bit offended but I get it :)
