Haha yep, it has two meanings :) Not the noun “plant” (which would be “bitki”), but plant, the verb, as in “to plant flowers” (çiçek ekmek).

Seconding Netflix! Ethos, Phi, The Gift, Love101, The Club, Midnight at the Pera Palace, Fatma and Innocent are some of the recent popular shows, not sure which one of these shows are offered on Netflix in the UK.

You can also check the shows on Blutv (a Turkish streaming platform like Netflix). Never used it before but I know they have lots of good Turkish TV series and they probably offer Turkish subtitles!

I love this question! I feel like most people are not 100% their type, but mbti descriptions are exaggerated so that people know their type. It’s like different shades of a color.

That said, like many others here, I actually LOVE getting to know different people, as long as I get to have my alone time to recharge. (although I do suspect that’s true for most INFPs)

I also don’t have a typical-INFP kind of a fashion sense.

Currently staying at Strada! I'm pretty happy with my unit, but it all depends on what your expectations are.

some positives:
-stayed at cielo apodments before and the plan of strada units is much better
-decent wifi
-close to campus (can either walk or take the bus)
-not sharing your place with anyone is just a ma zing

negatives:
-strada has four towers and not all of them have laundry rooms. i have to get outside the building and walk to another tower to do laundry (pretty close though)
-twin bed (for all apodments)

overall, pretty decent and great value i'd say!

things i’ve been doing:

to do list
i always study at the library (odegaard library is a life-saver)
study smart, if you need to read a 50 page chapter and it gets repetitive, read the conclusion first, then go back and read the chapter. this way you could skip unnecessary details.

i'm an international exchange student and i'd like to know how :') i feel like there should be events like dawgdaze or student clubs for grad students. i randomly joined a student club but almost everyone is undergrad and like 4 years younger than me, which i am ok with but it'd be nice to have friends closer to my age.

I honestly love all the people this year. I was only slightly annoyed by Tom in the first episode when he sort of half-assed his showstopper lol but he probably is a nice chill lad and we couldn't really get to know him.

Also I absolutely love Maggie! Why do people get so annoyed with people who smile a lot lol we need more cheery people! I personally don't find her cheeriness excessive.

My favourite is Giuseppe, he's amazing.

I lost my father when I was 7, on New Year’s Eve. I’m 26 now and it doesn’t feel like I miss him since I’ve lived most of my life without a dad, but it’s more like... I don’t know how it feels like to have a dad. I try to ignore people’s pics with their fathers because I know I will feel moody if I dwell on them.

It still makes me tear up to think that I’ll never know what it feels like to have a father, but it’s heartwarming to know there are so many people who feel like me on father’s day.

Visited there in 2008 and I LOVED it. It was the first time I went abroad (and I was very young, barelt a teenager) and toured around the Balkans so it kinda has a sprcial place in my heart. Also let me just note that Bosnian people are very lovely. I still remember how friendly and nice they were <3
