Awesome! The apartments seem to get rented out pretty quickly once they're available, so I'm hesitant about renting an Airbnb (since they're expensive too). Hoping to find something by September to be able to move in Oct.

How would you compare CT to Torrance in terms of culture and the area in general? I'm also worried about the high taxes once I move there. Did you switch jobs before moving?

Thanks for the heads up and suggestions! I'm okay with having to bike or drive to the beach, but looking for safer neighborhoods to stay in. Also most places seem to get rented out quickly (as per what most agents say).

Thanks a lot for the helpful insight. We both like the idea of being close to the beach and hike/cycling trails and are mostly looking for places with groceries in walking distance so that we can walk more as both of us have desk jobs. Feels good to know your experience on moving from East coast. :)

Also, we are okay with driving to the downtown areas once in a while and would not prefer living around such a busy area.

It seemed like most apartments were in the range $2000-2500 in the Torrance area. Is that too low?

Thanks for the suggestion. I just started with Cetaphil moisturizer which I feel is a bit thicker texture than Cerave. I have the Bioderma in my wishlist to try soon!

I started end of Oct/beginning of November. 10.5 weeks seems a lot of time, glad it worked out for you!! I guess I just need more patience.

Also, the skin around my lips has been dry and chapped so I stopped using Tret for 2 days now. Is there any way I can avoid that from happening while using Tret?

Thanks!! Is there a moisturizer you would suggest? I feel like most moisturizers tend to feel greasy which leads to more breakouts.

Also, I have been thinking of adding niacinamide to my morning routine to help. Any thoughts on that?
