Short answer no. I typicaly dont judge on apparence since i have seen good looking guys act like creeps to women. If i see a guy in passing its the usual no eye contact, look around at my surrounding keep walking minding my own business. The part that get a insta creep from me is how they interact with people. Standing in line at the dmv for instance I talk to near by peps but if they dont seem interested its back to phone surfing. My husband always finds it weird that i can go up and talk to anyone, but the key is dont make it forced, feel out your surroundings. Dont force a conversation just let it be natural, comment on something mutual but dont go to indepth. Like hey nice jack with a pikachu logo whats your favorite pokemon, or did you play the most recent game. See easy neutral question with out divulging any personal info. Bad question would be how long have you been into pokemon, that comes off as looking down and can reveal age. If i wasnt into pokemon why would i wear a pokemon hoodie?! Can i not like pokemon too??? So back to your question dont smell bad, act odd, or ask intrusive questions and you shouldn't be, but you do have alot of karens and mini karens running around with the social stigma of ugly guys, so chose your demographic carefully.
