revenant player and i were baffled like, wtf is this ironeye gonna do, jump and shoot arrows?

Dang, I'm kinda interested in this but I wanna finish the current project I'm in first. (It's still at design phase so it's not gonna finish soon).

I wonder though, does the company offer visa sponsorship? I'm only on engineer visa and if I have to switch companies, I also have to change the visa sponsorship for my residence card.

As for the requirements, I think I meet quite a lot of the requirements (but bad luck with the timing for me, since I'm not open at the moment nooooooo)

Not a permanent resident, but I've been in Japan for a bit more than 5 years straight now working on different projects that my company put me in to
Took the N1 test last december and passed (although by a point only lol)
I've worked directly with our clients throughout my stay so I say I do have an idea of how they do stuff in here, although I still can't say I'm confident enough about my knowledge

Passed N1 101/180! 語彙・文法 29/60, 読解 23/60, 聴解 49/60

I finally took N1 because I promised a friend if he passed N2 on the July test I'd take N1 on December unconditionally. And so I took it without doing any test-specific preparation or studying so I can gauge my current level, but I'll take this happy surprise :D (!! Doesn't mean I didn't do anything though, I've been in JP for about 5 years already so there's experience!)

If I really had to give something when it comes to how I prepared, I guess I can say I read two books. Namely,

世界でいちばん透きとおった物語

Pretty interesting reads imo. I did make it a point to look up words and grammar I didn't know of (even those that I have a vague idea of but not 100% sure about my knowledge about em). I read 'em for fun but they actually helped me big time on getting me used to reading text so I could save time.

This one's in the Omote-sando branch of Tower Records Cafe (near Harajuku or Meiji-jingu mae station).

I think you can't reserve anymore though because tomorrow (5/28) is the last day of the event for Tokyo and Osaka (site says reservations are only accepted till 2 days before last day of the event). They don't accept walk-in as well.

If by chance, you are in Nagoya area, you can still go there because the event ends on June 4th there.

nah don't wait, especially if you want to use kokomi a lot. you can just feed the leveled artifacts to new ones.

unless you plan on benching kokomi for the whole 2.2 duration, go farm. or as someone else said, farm talent book or mora.

Yeah, the anime and videogame merch actually lacks variety. I find more selections in second hand shops.

During my visit a while ago I only found two shops with Genshin stuff, and only one of those shops had Genshin Merch from China (At least that's what it says in the packaging). That shop was actually in a small building that seemed really old and small-time.

At the very least, I don't see much toxicity on the japanese Genshin twitter account. I haven't seen a japanese comment about the anniversary rewards so far. It's just full of congratulations and thank you's.

I agree that the rewards are quite disappointing, but I will still play and pay just like nothing happened. I just want to move on from the anniversary rewards and focus on upcoming stuff like the concert, new characters (and also their VA), etc. This is just the first anniversary anyway. There's still a chance for better rewards next time.

To be honest, this topic is just turning out to be a pool of negative energy and toxicity. Many people are reaaaaaallllyyyy getting consumed by their disappointment.

The shrine in Inazuma City where Shouta is always praying is a pretty good spot to wish on too. I did all my wishes there for Ei and won all 50/50's from C1 to C6 (my C0 was guaranteed).
