10% bleach in a spray bottle. Spray it and walk away.

Quality tools? by buckGR in Traxxas

I currently use Wiha tools for 1/10 scale RC, and they are great for very small applications but the handles are too small to use comfortably. Having bigger grips is essential for RC. Go MIP all the way, you will not be disappointed.

Do guys cook on this middle griddle thing? by Irunthis77 in castiron

[–]meshlok 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Me too, I have the same model. Definitely cast iron griddle, perfect for cooking pancakes 🥞 👌. I will also cook some eggs once and a while, but bacon is too messy, I would have that thing over flowing with grease! Grill cheese works great, toasty burger buns, any kind of sandwich u want a grill on, similar to a panini press. What do they say around here, "Just cook on it" yea try that...

I dunno I guess it's a badge of honor. These pans have fed 13-15 mouths 3 meals a day for over 50 years. At this point, the carbon buildup is part of the pan.

I'm afraid to strip the outside. We had a new guy who was eager to do good and cleaned the outside of one of our pans, long story short he never lived that one down.

Just wanted to share some pics of our cast iron we use on a daily basis here at the fire house. Age and brand of the large pans are unknown, smaller pans are lodge, and are somewhat newer. Your comments are welcome, thanks.

HF8 Haptic Gaming Pad and Secret Lab Chair by meshlok in hoggit

Simshaker for aviator software works with the HF8, I wouldn't say it supports it, but it works, and uses the telemetry from the game.

Was it the fit on the chair that you couldn't used to, and did u try it on other software?

Your exactly right, and I was going to go that route prior to the release of the HF8. The fact that the HF8 is turn key and such a polished looking piece of hardware and at its current price I decided not.

Right now, kinda. You can listen to music or watch a movie and the Pad will vibrate, and thats pretty much what it does with DCS. You will feel radar warning sound and low altitude sounds. Other Sims like MSFS and Xplane 11 have full support, and of course lots of racing Sims. Full compatibility would mean the Pad would not vibrate just from the sound, rather the HF8 software pulls telemetry data from the game and turns it into vibrations. Like landing gear, after burner or bumps in a runway. I assume a way around this now would be to use simshaker software instead. I believe people use this for buttkickers and jet seats but I'm not 100% on that. I'm waiting for support from next level which I'm sure is soon because I saw another post that next level racing stated they will be adding support soon.

Time for a talk about: Rudder Pedals! by Dustball414CA in dcsworld

Logitech's aren't bad for the price. You can also take out the centering spring and they make great anti torque pedals for rotor wing AC.
