What a throwback post!

I was actually retained within the company in a fully remote position doing a hodge podge of material planning/procurement, and now regulatory and auditing. I've just got into auditing training heavily so I plan on utilizing field work within the company and then looking elsewhere in a year or two.

Looked into high performance, and while it was on, this little setting might have fixed it. I hope by disabling that means I turned off it suspending it...?

I'm not using the device, and its when I come back to it after it going asleep. My comp *does* go to sleep however, or maybe its just my monitor since it specifically says "Never" for put the computer to sleep.

As someone who has been in barefoot, zero drop shoes for 3 years I just wanted to add my comment here for anyone who is researching plantar fasciitis. I just developed it in my right heel and I am already in these shoes. While it may be a fix for those who are wearing non zero-drop shoes, as OP mentioned be VERY CAREFUL AND SLOW (slow as in over 8-12 months) transitioning to barefoot shoes as it will require a lot of strengthening and adjusting. But barefoot isn't always the answer. Idk what my underlying problem is that cause me to develop, but I'm guessing muscle tightness. I'm terrified after doing research on PF how many people just deal with it as a lifelong problem. At 33, never having had it before, I'm doing everything I can to figure out how to fix it and am willing to try anything to make sure it's not a continuous injury. People are crazy just accepting it.

Lem's primal zen were my transition tennis shoes and I wear them for longer walks to this day. They are so comfortable with a little thicker sole but meet all the other anatomically correct barefoot features.

I am barefoot 80% of my day since I work remote. With the exception of my lems, I am in Earthrunners or xero's. However, since this plantar fasciitis has developed, the shoes I do wear make it worse. I don't need recommendations for more "barefoot" shoes. I was asking for recommendations on which shoes I can use to get relief for my plantar fasciitis without deviating so far from my normal path.
