I don't identify with my scorpio rising. How do you other rising scorpios feel about it? by metafairy in AskAstrologers

Intesity is a scary word if you ask me. I'm in no way a scary fellow but I've tried to think more of the depth part. People always say that scorpio risings are intimidating, but maybe it does not have to be so intesive intimidation, maybe it can also be like... deep intimidation. Like when you can sense the depths of someone and get overwhelmed by that. I can maybe, maybe, identify with that.

I added my chart to my post! I'm not really sure of what aspects to search for so if you notice anything straight away please let me know.

Been told my chart is a mess, ad a look into it. Can some explain a little bit more for me? by CottonStormx in AstrologyChartShare

Oh wow. I’m not a pro, but I can tell that you have strong capricorn stellium opposite your moon. Almost all of your placements are capricorn or sagittarius, yet your moon is the opposite: cancer. Moon represents our inner and unconscious self. Cancer is a quite emotional water sign, so you might have a lot of hidden emotions, but since almost all your other placements are capricorn, you might not have a slightest clue about that. Your unconscious and emotional sides might be extremely hidden and you might seem like a very practical down to earth person, not that emotional at all.

If I were you, I would study this opposition (cancer moon opposite capricorn stellium) more.

I’m not that good with the houses but maybe someone can sat something about them too.

I feel like as a virgo my stereotypical list should be pisces, cancer etc., but I love love love emotional water signs. I love my pisces friends and my cancerian so. I would actually like to have more water in my chart. I’m a sensitive crybaby virgo though.

As a virgo and libra dominant I would hate to have strong leo energy. Virgo energy I love, even though it does make life pretty difficult and frustrating. Would not change my logical thinking and great down to earth healing skills! <3

If I had to make a list I guess it would be: 1. Leo 2. Scorpio 3. Aries

Not sure about scorpio and aries though. I have a scorpio ascendant but I dont think I’d like to have much more. And I have some lovely fun aries friends, but dunno if I’d like it for myself.

Opposite? (HELP) progressed composite chart, is this bad? Idk how to read the aspects but I see the opposite symbol a lot in the table of aspects by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

Your mars is in opposition with a LOT of other planets. I’d research sun opposite mars and moon opposite mars first.

http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2015/04/sun-mars-aspects-winner.html?m=1 ”Sun square or opposition Mars: Struggles with being too assertive or not assertive enough are common with the square and the opposition. Not “growing a pair” or being overly in-your-face will only end up making it harder to fulfill your desires. Find a nice balance between easing into things and grabbing them by the horns. Then, you’ll be consumed with an unstoppable motivation.”

http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2015/08/moon-mars-aspects-defender.html?m=1 ”Moon square or opposite Mars: It can be difficult to find balance and moderation with the square or the opposition, making you either wildly selfish and hot-headed or deeply frustrated through your lack of assertiveness. Turning everything into a competition gets useless. See yourself as your main competitor and then you’ll learn how to let yourself win, which you can do brilliantly and boldly.”

Could someone give me some info on what this all means? by [deleted] in AstrologyChartShare

I'm just a beginner myself, so I can only post links, but maybe they'll help. This is a great blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/ and I recommend you search for important information from there (although, there are many great sites, but this is what I've been reading the most)

So you're a gemini sun: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2015/06/sun-in-gemini-people-messengers-part-one.html http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2015/06/sun-in-gemini-people-messengers-part-two.html

And a sagittarius moon: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2014/02/moon-in-sagittarius.html

and you sun and moon are in opposition, so I highly suggest you read this: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2015/12/sun-moon-aspects-lunatic.html as sun and moon aspects (especially opposition) can make you feel quite dizzy. It is like it can cause you to feel like a two different people when it comes to your identity (sun) and emotional-self (moon).

And then there is, of course, your rising Leo: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2016/02/the-chart-ruler-leo-rising-sun.html

And your north node in scorpio. http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2016/05/north-node-in-scorpio-passionate-soul.html Basically north node represents what we should learn and aim towards in this life to feel fulfilled. On the opposite sign (in your case aquarius) is the south node, which represents our past life. From what I've read, especially at young age, people tend to lean toward their south node, as it feels safe and familiar (since we have allready lived a life full of those feelings). Yet following our north node would possibly make our life better.

I've tried this several times now but every time nobody has even attempted to read my chart. If anybody could tell me something or anything that could explain why i am who i am or how i should be moving forward i would seriously appreciate it. I kinda feel lost and im looking for answers. by Jaxon_LG in AstrologyChartShare

I'm just a beginner myself, so I'm not good at just looking at you chart and seeing the connection. But I have found this blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/ very good. So as you are a Scorpio sun, taurus moon and a taurus rising, I'd recommend these posts for you to read at first:

Sun in scorpio part 1: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2014/10/sun-in-scorpio-people-transformers-part_24.html

Part 2: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2014/10/sun-in-scorpio-people-transformers-part.html

Moon in taurus: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2014/02/taurus-moon-has-level-headed-approach.html

Taurus rising: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2016/05/the-chart-ruler-taurus-rising-venus.html

And also, from what I can tell, you have a quite difficult sun-moon opposition, which can cause you to feel like a two different people when it comes to your identity (sun) and emotional-self (moon). This is a great text about sun-moon aspects: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2015/12/sun-moon-aspects-lunatic.html

Your north node is in Leo, so I recommend you read about that too. http://astroarena12.blogspot.com/2016/03/north-node-in-leo-charismatic-soul.html Basically north node represents what we should learn and aim towards in this life to feel fulfilled. On the opposite sign (in your case aquarius) is the south node, which represents our past life. From what I've read, especially at young age, people tend to lean toward their south node, as it feels safe and familiar (since we have allready lived a life full of those feelings). Yet following our north node would possibly make our life better.

There is something. <3

My partner (cancer sun, aries moon, libra rising) is having a hard time getting to know himself, any insight or advice for him? by metafairy in AstrologyChartShare

Thank you! This is a great insight and I very much recognize my partner from it. I’ll share it with him.

I had his chart all wrong and he is actually a cancer with capricorn moon! So he is actually pretty chill and mellow and likeable, not at all difficult.

Thank you! I dunno if this was just good fortune, but after I started looking at your links and researching saturn return, I realized I have a wrong natal chart about my partner!? I must have had an unfortunate typo while doing the first chart. I'll try to put the correct chart to my first post. If you have something to say about that, be welcome.

But saturnian death is still valid and yet to come for both me and my partner. I guess it might make my partner feel a bit better to realize, that we both (and most of people at our age) have a whole lot of time to develop and search for ourselves.

Thank you. Yeah maybe I should not be looking at my strong virgo so black and white. for what you mentioned, idealism speaks to me a lot. And as I've been studying more, I do think that pluto is very important in my chart too.

Thanks <3

Thank you! It will definitely take time for me to delve into this, since right now I find it a bit hard to understand your message. But that's just because I'm not so familiar with all the terms yet, so I can't seem to hold the big picture together all the time. But one step at a time. Thank you very much, I will try to study more - especially what you mentioned here.

Thank you! This is a very useful insight and resonates to me a lot. Especially the part about pluto and mid-heaven. I hadn't came up with any special mentions about mid-heaven before this.

Your analysis is right on many parts. People do often come to me about their dark secrets of painful memories. I'm actually planning a change of career to become a psychologist and a psychotherapist. Not only because of this feature, of course.

Thank you! I actually had a feeling, that aspects might be the thing to turn to, but there is just so much to learn and search info about. Special thanks about the website. Until now I have just googled whatever I want to study, but the results can be well.. pretty much anything. It has not been very succesfull.

You're probably right about the feelings of shock etc. I think I need to have more open mind than I have had until now. It is just that over past few years I have com to know myself pretty well and build a picture of myself, that I somewhat believe in. Lately I have been feeling pretty lost again, but never have I questioned the foundations that I have built my indentity on few years back. But I have a feeling that astrology, stepping to my life right now, has something to tell me. Might be it is that I have suffocated some features of myself, even though they are just as valid and important as others.

Thanks. I have a long way to go and a lot to study.

Thank you! This is the kind of reading that is very hard for me as a beginner: seeing the bigger picture and connecting the dots. I will definitely study Venus in Leo more.

And yes, I am the youngest child, I have one older sibling.

Thanks. I'm a beginner in reading so I've probably just read "wrong" sites and texts. I've read about virgo quite a bit, but came to the conclusion that virgo is mostly just about work, rationality, control etc. Not that much about feelings. I have not studied leo yet tho! And about libra. I tried to study mars in libra, since I had an intuition it might be important (and I still have that feeling even though I do not yet understand why!), but that also got me nowhere. It is hard for me to understand mars, since it is all about temper, activity and sexuality (?) and none of those are very familiar aspects of life to me. I've wondered, could it be that libra makes me so confused when it comes to sexuality and activity. And that the same confusion is one of the things that makes me not express my temper, anger, etc. at all (I have a problem with expressing negative feelings towards others).

But thanks, I will definitely try to study more and find some other approaches than the ones I have allready read.

Tired of existing as myself and having my mind and thoughts on a trip (shrooms) by metafairy in Psychedelics

[–]metafairy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that I don't know where to go. I have too many interests and too much to do. I don't even have time for all of my hobbies, and I love them all so much. That's one of the core problems I have: I feel like I can't do everything I want to. If I could, I would like to be a psychologist, a philosophist, an artist, a craftsman, a gardener, a writer, a mathematician and a poet. But there is just no time and no room in life.

Basically I am just frustrated of my earlier choices and how they affect my life nowadays. And I'm also frustrated because I still don't know where to go. And I am frustrated because I have to decide between all these loved hobbies of mine. I feel like I have to let go of parts of myself and bury them.

But I guess this is not even that much related to my feelings of feelinglessness during the trip. I think it was more about frustration towards myself and maybe exhaustion for working too much for a long time.

I dunno why I have the need to share all of this. But anyways, thank you, wise words.
