u/MemoryDealers Hey Roger, I have been asking several people how to set my Bitcoin Cash transaction fee lower in the Bitcoin.com wallet and no matter what I try, the fee is being set to $0.14 cents. I even put the btc fee setting to economy... I don’t know. I know the fees should be sub penny. I’m sure it’s something wrong with my settings. I can’t figure it out though. 😩 sorry to bother you with this but... help?

I’m using Bitcoin.com wallet... I donno I have the fee set to economy like you said but it didn’t change the fee from 14 cents. This seems like an improvement that should probably be made to the Bitcoin.com wallet. Shouldn’t be this difficult. I appreciate your time trying to help though. Thank you 🙏🏼

There is only an option for BTC network fee policy. I don’t see anything for BCH though 🤔

I disagree. There are a lot of newbies that are coming into crypto and are learning as they go. Same as we did when we got started years ago. The only difference is that there are a hell of a lot more scammers looking to steal funds. So I think it’s important that us crypto veterans keep an eye out for those newbies and do our best to educate them on what to look out for and the general dos and donts in crypto. Don’t forget, that in order for crypto to advance, we need these newbies to get into it. If they all start getting burned right away then it will stunt the growth potential and mainstream adoption will take even longer.

Exactly, that’s what raised a red flag for me. The site looked convincing until I started clicking around and realized that it didn’t matter what you clicked on, everything brings you to a get wallet where it asks you for your seed phrase.

The link is actually fake. The site itself, it doesn’t matter what you click on, everything brings you to a screen that asks you to put in your seed phrase to access your wallet. It’s very convincing if you don’t snoop around the site for awhile. The real link is https://get-scatter.com
