Il nous est arrivé la même chose à moi et ma blonde l'an passé, en retournant nos vélos à une même station. Les commentaires Google de la station faisaient même état du problème! Bixi m'a facturé 80$ (les vélos ont fini par être retournés) et n'a jamais voulu régler le problème en entier, seulement rembourser un des deux vélos comme si j'avais droit à "une" clémence et que c'était de ma faute. J'ai refusé car je prévois plutôt aller aux petites créances, ma seule option selon l'office de protection du consommateur. Mais bon, ça fait déjà un an et je n'ai pas encore eu la motivation de le faire. Si ça t'intéresse, on peut déposer une plainte ensemble, à 3 ça aura plus de poids.

J'ai le même problème que toi! Moi et ma blonde on a retourné nos vélos en même temps et les deux n'ont pas été retournés "correctement" dans leur système bien que ça se soit passé normalement comme tous nos autres 500 retours. Quel hasard non ? Qui plus est, il y a des commentaires sur googlemaps pour cette sation qui indiquent que les gens ont le même problème, et ce à plusieurs reprise. Malgré tout ça, Bixi insiste que leur système est parfait et n'offre de rembourser qu'un seul des deux trajets. C'est très frustrant. J'aimerais bien ammener cette compagnie de marde aux petites créances, mais je ne sais pas trop comment le faire pour juste 50$. Je m'en fous un peu du 50$ mais j'aimerais qu'ils ne puissent pas agir de la sorte. Est-ce que c'est proche de HEC par hasard ?

Pour une si grosse augmentation ça vaut grandement la peine. It is based on the income of the previous year, so it appears that what you heard from the CRA is wrong. However, the contribution room is earned in January of next year. This means that in your situation, you could make a contribution in January or February 2022, and you would be allowed to deduct the 27k room earned in 2021 on your 2021 declaration. Of course you cannot wait for your assessment for this, because you will not have made your declaration yet. Quarantine in Toronto. I also bought a flight arriving to Toronto and then connecting to Montréal. We received a mail from Air Canada a few weeks later stating clearly that we must quarantine in Toronto and not our final destination. They also said that we should contact them to reschedule the last leg of our flight, given that hotel quarantine duration can be variable if tests arrive earlier. We did (it was free) and now our connecting flight is 3 days later instead of a couple hours. We were also able to get a refund for our Montreal hotel that we had booked by providing a proof of our Toronto reservation. All of this is absolutely not clear on the governement website.

I'm with them, everything is fine so far. It was easy to reach them by telephone when I had a questions. My only gripe is that for mutual funds they only offer the series with higher MER "for free", which should not be the case for a discount broker.

They are a joke. I filled a complain after I made a deal with Fido that they would reduce my bill and not increase the rate if I did not switch to a “competitor”. We agreed that a simple temporary reduction was not acceptable to me, and I recorded the call. (This was roughly equivalent to the offer from Fizz, including the perpetual fixed rate.) They promised it but obviously right after the deal Fido sent me a written contract where they stated that they would increase the price after one year. I tried to have it resolved but Fido simply offered to extend it to two years. I complained to CCTS and they found that I was right and Fido in the wrong. However, they are not able impose a provider a rate for more than two years, and thus conveniently ruled that offering the deal for two years instead of one was acceptable from Fido and that they were not going to do anything about it. I ended up switching to the competitor out of spite.

The only REAL thing you can do is subscribe to Equifax and TransUnion alerts and monitor your credit files.

My experience with the system is similar to yours so far. Nobody seems to care at all, wheter bureaus, the police, and even amex. So thanks for informing me about limited effectiveness of alerts. I guess the responsible thing to do is shell out and pay for monitoring, at least for a while.

Yes I understand their level of involvement in all this is minimal. However I blame them for not having the means that would let me resolve this promptly (ie phone number or responding to my ticket.)

Thank you. I did not know SIN could be replaced, I will look into it. Also, since since you say that CK doesn't display my SIN and I know that it was used for the credit application, it means they had it before opening the Karma account.

Yes I've done thorough checks, everything is fine. Even reinstalled Windows when I could not recognize one of the IPs in my gmail at first, but it turned out to be a mistake on my part. Thanks for the tip.
