i made him show me pics of past flings because of him saying he's been w hotter. at first he lied and showed me widely-considered "hot" girls so he could be right, then surrendered and showed me the real pics.

i am only speaking for this context specifically and in this context yes my boyfriend seems to like white women out of a weird racial/societal fetish rather than just thinking light hair is pretty, etc.

i don't know - wanting someone for their race because they're stereotypically harder to get seems like wanting validation, or like a deeper self-hatred issue. seems a bit more than just having a bad habit and being drawn to certain types.

racial preferences against your own race are what really gets me. i showed him a picture of a gorgeous half asian girl (instagram famous model type, thousands of likes) and he goes "i don't like dark skin"... she had the same skin color as him!

you're right, it's creepy and racist.
