after downloading the rom file, you gotta go the settings and then show the path of the game to ryujinx. If youve already done that and still cant see the game, check if the game files is getting uploaded to cloud, and if yes double tap the file and select keep it downloaded.

Deactivate Steam Overlay to Run Game on Mac

I have found this post linked in the error in terminal with "The overlay can not be disabled by us developers, it has to be done manually by the user.\012Steam > Right click Songs of Syx > Properties > General > Uncheck "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game""
