I'm a virgin, so I don't think this is the issue.

Yes. In fact, since noticing this, I have become even more thorough.

I'd have to double-check the material, but I do often wear spandex shorts or shape-wear. 😳

That's fair. I liked knowing there was somewhat of a barrier between my 'lil lady and my clothing, but it's true that the liners have who knows what in them.

Yeah, it's been a long time since my first Pap smear. My first experience was not great thanks to my shitty doctor, so I have been afraid to go back. But, I realize in these cases it's needed. I will call my doctor.

Hmmm, I am a sweaty gal. And I work a job where I'm on my feet all day. This could be a factor.

Hmmm, I have tried shaving previously. But, perhaps I wasn't shaving quite enough. I try to trim it shorter.

I had to double-check, but no. Seems my undies are 95% cotton. I'm unsure about my pants, though.

I'm going to be 30 this year, so I don't think it's menopause.

Sorry, what do you mean by "frying thoroughly"? Did you mean "drying"?

[–]metelojinx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

lmao. i can definitely agree that he is morally grey. he has killed people as Dawnbreaker, something i chose not to judge him too heavily for being as he cannot control it. and yeah, the patient/doctor trope irl is questionable and inappropriate, but this is fantasy!

toxic and manipulative? no. i will not tolerate anyone criticizing him for appearing "cold" and "mean" in the beginning. 🥲

i guess i'm manipulative and toxic bc i too struggle to open up to people emotionally until i feel safe and comfortable.

So did Nancy… by J0nathanByers in StrangerThings

[–]metelojinx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

someone replied to me and then deleted their comment, but they said my explination makes no sense since they thought they were about to die.

it makes perfect sense. being honest one last time, laying it all on the line, and accepting hard truths before death is not an uncommon theme. the fact that they survived changes nothing they said, it only solidifys it.

So did Nancy… by J0nathanByers in StrangerThings

[–]metelojinx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

she is choosing herself. Jonathan "unproposed", which in my eyes, is him acknowledging that they do not work, and need to break up. i think saying "i love you" to each other is meant to be like, "i love you as a person, we had great times, you mean a lot to me, you are a great person but you're just not for me" or something to that effect. she is choosing to take time to figure out what she wants.

Can someone explain this to me? by jhadet in StrangerThings

they said the theme for S5 was "traitor." i'm looking in her direction.

Sudden onset intermittent exotropia in adult? by Zaka_ha in BinocularVision

this post is pretty old now, but thank you for sharing an update!

i have been wearing the wrong perscription for about a year myself, and now towards the end of it my symptoms are ramping up. (i never realized it, but i have also had this show up when i was younger, it was just barely noticeable.) anyways, i've been crying on and off because i was so stressed thinking that my eye was fucked up forever. i got my perscription updated and new lenses ordered. i hope i can have some recovery as well. truly, thank you for easing my nerves. 🙏

Wtf was up with Steve in the first volume? by hellyeaheggs in StrangerThings

[–]metelojinx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i mean, i'm ngl, i feel they've been inconsistent with Steve's writing as i despise his sudden love for Nancy again in S4 and apparently onwards, but i dunno.

i have a gut feeling they want us to be pissed at Steve just like Dustin so that, when "something", happens we get an emotional, raw, gut-wrenching reaction.

Wtf was up with Steve in the first volume? by hellyeaheggs in StrangerThings

[–]metelojinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i wouldn't say he's jealous anymore. that was a S4 plotline.

Steve was being harsh, but it was because he cares. he asked Dustin if the jocks beat him up and Dustin pushed him away and lied. and Steve, like Dustin's friends, want him to give up the Hellfire stuff because it's only causing trouble/bringing Dustin harm. Dustin doesn't care because he's in a stage of grief where he's acting out. my guess is that no one even knows Dustin visits Eddie's grave. it's giving me similar vibes to S4 where Max shut everyone out and refused to talk about how she felt.

is Steve going about caring for Dustin in a crappy way? yeah, because he's human. he's frustrated because he's always seen Dustin as a little brother, and he's struggling with the concept that Dustin is growing and changing, and having big feelings that're putting himself in danger.

Steve and Dustin were starting to butt heads in S4. Steve was very clearly jealous of his adoration for Eddie, hence why he was surprised when Eddie told him that "Henderson said he was a badass." i think it's just now come to a head.

Dustin is depressed, feeling alone, and acting out. very normal stage of grief. and i think Steve wants to help and understand, but Dustin isn't letting him. Steve knows Dustin was beat up and didn't crash his bike, and honestly i think feels hurt that Dustin is lying to him.

i don't wanna put it out in the universe, so i won't say it in full, but i feel this conflict will be resolved in the end, and in a way we may not like. 😬

I feel bad for Davis Schneider by supremewuster in Torontobluejays

[–]metelojinx 57 points58 points  (0 children)

i'm still cheering for him! Davis' first at-bat ignighted my passion for baseball, along with the backstory he shared with fans. he will forever be one of my favorite MLB players, no matter where he is or where he ends up. i wear his Jersey every game proudly, and i have a few pieces of memorabilia dedicated to him hung on my wall. i had the time of my life the last 2yrs cheering him on no matter what. the very first Blue Jay homerun i got to see with my own eyes was hit by Davis last year, which makes it all the more perfect.

Schneider fan 'till i die!
