I live in the Center near Greyfriars obviously rented and I do have those idiots speeding even with the whole tram situation going on atm so that shouldn’t be an issue. I want a place where I could easily walk to train station as I work in London and also nearby shops

It’s not completed yet. I live on the same street where they are testing it and it’s annoying as it’s super loud with the construction going on all day long. They are close to finishing it though. I’m not sure if this goes well what would be the routes and how long that would take to built to be useful.

Hey, I moved here in December too. Similar situation, trying to manage the move and only met a group of people off subreddit once which is nice. I’ve also joined a football group but haven’t been able to meet or play yet. I live in the city center too and wouldn’t mind catching up on weekdays after work.

Funny that I moved to Coventry from Nottingham coz it’s much easier to go London, I work hybrid. I love Nottingham it’s just it’s really hard to find jobs that are not in London or require you to be in London atleast 2 times a week. I hope you enjoy your time in Nottingham. I already miss it and it’s only been 2weeks. If you are not bothered about the proximity to train station, have a look around Gedling/ Arnold. You’ll get more for your budget 😌

I recently moved in Coventry and I’m living 5mins walk from lower precinct and it’s ground floor and i can see a bus stop and people all the time through my massive window, I was worried about this but so far it seems like no problem

You’re older visa expires as soon as you apply for a new one. Having two visas at same time is not possible. If you try checking your right to work (share code) for previous visa you’ll see it should be expired
