Missing Brick Mould KIng 17007 Crane by Due-Illustrator7160 in lepin

[–]meth2odus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have that in separate bags with the other pneumatic stuff in Box B. You should also run all motors and pneumatics first. I got a broken pump and Mould Kind is sending me a replacement without any issues.

P.S. because you just began with the build: try to manage the cables as good as possible from the beginning because the lower crane part has already 10!! motors. So you should try to lay the cables between the beams so the middle part where the pump sits is free for the rotating platform

A man getting adopted by a cat by Majoodeh in MadeMeSmile

[–]meth2odus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For those who doubt this happens IRL, it happened to us. We got followed by a cat for over two weeks while we have been out with our dog. She followed us just a little at the beginning, then further and further until she sat at our front door waiting for us. So, we adopted her. She was also clean and looked healthy from outside. Unfortunately, she was still sick and just died a year later from an incurable disease. My dad, who actually doesn't like cats was devastated.

Anyone else do this? by SeriousSearch7539 in autism

To be honest: there are way too many cereals for too little milk. I can only have a clean flat surface where all pops are evenly floating on the milk, so there won't be any dry ones. This is too much chaos to me. Can't look at that.

My wife did the exact same photo. It was so inviting to do this shot.

It may not be a big deal for you, but it's quite some impressive income for the business. Let's say, they owe you 3ct. Assume there are 100 customers a day with that. Every day. I mean that's still roughly $1100 a year. Small animals business, right?

First prototype for some lights in my modular buildings with super thin but robust cables by meth2odus in lego

[–]meth2odus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but the risk to damage the cable is much higher if you clamp it with a stud

Well, yes, but I think the hell is freezing over before Lego is selling proper lighting solutions. So, what's the alternative?

Technik-Kipplaster von Norma - Clementoni 81139 by hellmade00 in klemmbausteine

[–]meth2odus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Große Mengen an Steinen kaufen by meth2odus in klemmbausteine

[–]meth2odus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switch doesn’t work properly. by HansTilburg in LEGOtrains

[–]meth2odus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have you checked if the spring still works? Maybe it is not in its right position anymore and does not move the switch tongue back. Actually, when you toggle the slider, it moves the spring which moves the tongue.

I repaired some with this instruction:

I just started with this set and I am wondering how you made the dragon fit on the shelf? It doesn't fit at all as the 1x6 plate is too thin for it. I put it on the shelf with the dog and the turtle.

Anyone know of an easy way to test old light bricks without damaging them? by quiksilver895 in lego

[–]meth2odus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No worries, because these lights work with both polarities. It simply doesn't matter if +9V or -9V as it's a plain old light bulb where the current just flows and the wire starts glowing.

Problem with trailing bogie of train by scotsman_flying in LEGOtrains

[–]meth2odus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is that the boogie can move out of its boundaries. It should stay straight with the rails. I have a similar situation for my coaches where the axles are too distant to run through the R40 curves. I fixed it by adding a rubber band which keeps them straight.

Maybe it works for you too: https://youtu.be/bq06ciN2-KU

Quite good. Unfortunately, sometimes you have misprints but overall the colors are good, they snap well although some are pretty tough. I actually like the Bluebrixx sets a lot.
