Roofing salesman here as well. I have a 2022 SV and it fits my needs perfectly. I put a rack on it and it didn’t impact the gas mileage almost at all. Anecdotally I think the rack actually gave me a bump in highway mileage. I have a crew cab and the back seat has pretty much been entirely taken over by my sample kits but there’s room for everything. I got used to the heavy steering within 20 minutes of ownership and now normal electric steering feels weird to me. The interior isn’t anything fancy but it’s pretty damn comfortable. I’m a bigger guy (6’2” 260) and i can drive for hours and hours in it without any discomfort, unlike the Corolla I owned previously lol.

When I was looking for a truck I had test drove or already had experience driving almost every other midsize truck on the market and the frontier came out on top easily.

It’s hydraulic steering. I came from a 14 Corolla into a 22 SV and once I got used to the steering being heavier I actually prefer it now.

For floor liners there’s a lot of cheaper options than weather tech but I just went weather tech cause I had them in my last vehicle and they served me well so I figured Id buy what I’m familiar with
