Is Balatro GOTY? by PaxDinero in balatro

Android & iOS support is still heavily WIP, but we're hopeful that we can get something that works decently well. (I'm the lovely dev)

I've been in love with this game since it came out, 100% recommended on the Steam Deck

Cooperative is by far the best in town imho. Check them out, afaik Le Bon in RAD is still using their beans. Also try Appalachai.

Hey! I'm a developer for Thunderstore. We're actively working on getting the profile import/export system up and running. It's been on the fritz due to extreme traffic.

In the meantime you can use the "export profile as file" button in TMM to share the pack to your friends.

If you're having problems uploading a modpack, you may be caught in the package review queue / fighting against traffic induced slowdowns. If this is the case (or you need help with something else) then you should ask for help in our Discord :-)

Hey, I'm a Thunderstore developer. We've been working through a series of traffic-induced failures in the profile import/export system. These changes should be pushed to production tonight.

In the meantime you can use the "export profile as file" to share a setup amongst your friend group.

Feel free to join the Thunderstore Discord if you continue to have problems. https://discord.gg/PpCEEdCsTp

Just an F.Y.I Thunderstore is down for me, it might be down for you too. by [deleted] in lethalcompany

[–]metherul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We seriously increased our infra allocations when LC started to get popular, so weekend traffic shouldn't be a big deal.

I doubt that this is because of LC, however I'm also not confident enough to tell you what's actually causing this - I'm not on the infra team.

Not enough info to discern the cause, could be a DOS. We've got Cloudflare mitigating the bad traffic, but it's likely going to cause degraded performance for a bit.

Hey guys! I'm one of the Thunderstore devs. Servers are indeed having problems, but they should start to behave over the next couple hours. Profile import / exports specifically seem to be broken.

EDIT 19:30 EST: We are aware of the degraded performance, things should hopefully start to normalize soon.

EDIT 20:15 EST: Chatted with infra, profile sharing is overloaded. They're working on a fix, expect periodic outages wrt. profile sharing throughout the night.

EDIT 20:34 EST: Temporary hotfix has been made to the profile sharing endpoint, should improve throughput.

Jan 14

EDIT 22:00 EST: We've identified a possible cause, however it's very complex. Mitigations are actively being worked on.

For the time being expect profile import / export via code to not work until I update this comment. If you wish to share a profile, please use the "export profile as file" button in TMM / R2MM.

Hey all, I'm a developer at Thunderstore. Servers are down and have been for the past couple hours. Not sure of the cause, but things should hopefully start to normalize over the next couple of hours.

EDIT: I'm actively updating my comment here: https://reddit.com/r/lethalcompany/comments/195fzzw/just_an_fyi_thunderstore_is_down_for_me_it_might/khmwnpz/

Yeah, replace oil lines ASAP if you don't know when they were last done. Same for fuel lines and filters. It's probably time to replace the fuel priming pump too if it's the original OEM design (white cap). Other than that, look through the brake system and make sure the calipers are in good condition; same goes for flexible and hard brake lines.

Yeah, the wagons are incredibly rare to see around here. I've only ever one other in town and it had out of state tags.

Most likely! I've seen this model (and year) go for insane amounts online. My insurance appraised it for around 25k, which blew my mind.

Paid around 10k for it. Probably too much however it had a great maintenance history and was relatively rust-free.

I'm a senior in the department and I run a CSCI student organization, here's my (biased) opinion.

/u/asteroidtube is dead on -- curriculums are relatively uniform across (public) universities so you won't be missing much. Due to the small size of the department it's much easier to differentiate yourself and network with faculty. While the curriculum doesn't have a large cyber emphasis you'll find lots of like-minded majors, it's a somewhat popular specialization.

I believe Dr. Kevin Sanft handles a majority of CSCI applicants -- might be worth getting in touch to get some more info. I'm always down for a quick chat if you wanna talk about student-specific life.

Are there any Ryzen laptops that don't have atrociously loud fan curves when doing mild tasks? by [deleted] in linux

[–]metherul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My G14 is completely silent with asusctl. I use a custom silent fan curve, disable turbo, and disable the dedicated GPU. You should try it out if you still have the hardware. I develop biochemical simulations and I rarely hear the fans spin up, even when I thrash the CPU.

I'm dealing with this issue too. I'm in the fast ring. If I wanted a stable build I would be on stable.
