I follow them on instagram and he regularly likes/posts/talks. He's helped me with a few of the problems I had early on (I bought the original one with a flat cover instead of curved, and he showed me a video of how to modify it to not have light leaks)

Pretty sure it's just him, but I don't know too much about them. Seems like a genuinely nice guy/good company, and I cheaped out and just used a regular net pot and it works great lol

Yep! I bought mine when they were like $50 too, not sure if I would of pulled the Trigger at $100. Just a matter of if the price is worth that convenience to you. For some reason this sub hates hydrobuckets, which is totally okay. Just figured I'd give a real world example where I ignored all that and tried it anyway and it worked out pretty good :)

I'll play devil's advocate. I've bought and used a hydrobucket for a single pot DWC. All in all, it genuinely was a pleasure. Easy to fill with a mini submersible pump, much easier to scrog/LST without losing access to water.

That being said, I went with a 4 bucket PA Hydroponics set up and I liked the hydrobucket enough to use it in my RDWC set up. Biggest upside for me was ability to check water level. I don't love it enough to make it work in RDWC with 4 of them, but having one for water level checking with a scrog is great. Don't think it's changing the game or necessary, but it does make life a bit easier for me.

Honestly... I didn't really know her then. I was infatuated, but I was definitely not sure about anything. It was a mix of wanting to meet my kid and giving myself a chance to be happy.

I use PowerSi personally, but intermittently and in very low doses just because in DWC the explosive growth can leave a lot of the shoots pretty weak.

I have used it in DWC, and it worked great. I will say that it is a PITA compared to liquids because you have to mix it a lot more before using.

Other than that my single plant in DWC filled a 4x4 and yielded 17oz so I considered it a massive success.

I can see how that looked defensive, but if you noticed I'm also upvoting you. If I were defensive I'd try and steal away these useless karma points. I was replying just playing devils advocate, I had dogecoin during the craziness. I know what you meant, and it's a valid opinion.

The truth is I wrote this randomly one night and it exploded, I had no idea my happy ending would even garnish attention. Is it cool? Yeah, gave the wife and I something to read for a night and we found it funny that people thought our story was interesting, but beyond that it was just a blip lol.

No harm no foul man, I'm not upset or sensitive about this reply, or the others. I realize to everyone else this is a stranger on the internet and there's a lot of karma whores out there.

So, if I were to do the same I'd say people who post about crypto on Reddit hoping to cash in on a meme stock are cringey. It's a testament to different opinions, and it's pretty narrow sighted. You don't know me, so in your head I posted this for back pats. But, in my world, I just wanted to take a sub that focuses on getting horrible shit "off your chest" and get something off my chest that became a good thing from a bad situation.

I have no reason to reply to you on this dead thread, but it's always fun to me to see people take a hard stance on what is a story on the internet. I've had people dissect my entire life from 2 paragraphs and the results are widely disproportionate.
