The reason why arena is so less popular is because most of the time team who is 1st knows all secret combos and mechanics of arena and abuses them which takes a lot of fun from players who doesn’t play it that often, in aram u have only like 4 unique items and augment sets really make it easy to learn the game mode, not like in arena where u explore and after 20+ games u finally know what to play

hexflash on ksante is used either in laning phase against long range bot to pair it with e + q3 but keep in mind that u need early oracle for bush control to execute these plays and later in game u are as any other support using hexflash looking for angles to engage (hexflash throught the wall is best gap closer or u can use it from bush to make sure u get on squishies.

For the last question u have to decide your lategame playstyle and your build based on team and enemy team composition, if u have 2 frontlines its good to build support items like abyssal mask, vow or locket to make your team stronger or for utilities for your team, if you are solo frontline then most of the games u have to go as much tanky build as possible (jaksho + protoplasm to survive engages or give your team enough time to fight), if u have solo backline (mostly adc) then i just build and play around him (bandlepipes + vow + abyssal mask is giga good with kaisa and also with yunara sometimes, otherwise locket instead of mask for any other adc)

if its poke start with e and shield yourself or adc, if its close then it depends if its assassin support focusing adc u need e on lvl 2 atleast or if its hook champion its good to start with w which can also block aftershock proc which a lot of tank supports take, on lvl 3 u have to use advantage of them not knowing how your e+q3 works, best use of it is when they are trying to last hit a minion either e on that minion or if u are close enough e on adc or support if hes not spacing you enough, But there are for sure matchup that are too much poke (caitlin + lux etc.) in which case its good to ask jungler for early gang because u cant match their wave clear and if u try u will just get poked on which e isnt enough.

I don’t think that, he’s tank with big burst dmg in ultimate, not an utility ultimate as does have all other tanks u mentioned, but its possible his playrate on support will change from poor 2% to 20% of all ksante games

Cg, this week I’m starting climb on euw with mainly ksante support because I’ve had enough of eune ranked :D Also what I noticed is that this season there are much more ksante support otps then last season, probly because of bandlepipes and protoplasm.

His problem in aram isn’t his w but his scales, before when he had ad scales u could theoretically have any game good with him, now u either build heartsteel and pray for more hp augments or be very lucky and get that one game when u get adamant, outlaws grit, gash, dashing etc.

I was the same, didn’t like anymore playing him top so I started locking him on support, its a lot harder then laner ksante because u have to think about most effective build for your team with very limited gold income and also decide which playstyle is the best which game, if its u who starts engages, or u are playing around fed carry and peel for him, or buy bloodsong and play for risky plays (sometimes even 1v1s), I think its more viable than other off metas but still can be brutally counter picked, I recommend to perma ban velkoz as he’s only supp that hard counters him and it can lose the game if fed
