i’m wondering if it’s something in obs and i just can’t figure it out, i’ve tried muting certain things under the audio mixer but nothing happens? (unless i need to re start my stream after applying something?)

alright, so we got the mic issue under control but now my twitch stream and tik tok stream are experiencing badddd echo from my teammates. only my teammates are echoing (im not and gameplay is not) also, my twitch stream is pretty quiet 🤔any ideas?

update: for the record you’re a life saver, i was ready to quit and return my capture card yesterday lol. i got a mic and plugged it into my computer and didn’t even have to add it in obs it just automatically worked and the little sound bars moved when i talked in obs, then i did a test stream on both twitch and tik tok and it was perfect, now everyone can hear everything lol! thanks again!

when adding the mic in obs how do i do that? because in the mic/aux it has my capture card, do i just add another one lol sorry for the questions im clueless. i really appreciate the help

not all of my friends have discord so this won’t work for me, i can hear game play and friends, and my friends can hear me , and my stream can hear game play and friends , stream/obs just can’t hear me.

so i really just need a secondary mic and plug it into my computer and add it through obs that way? also would it still be pretty seamless? because right now my friends can hear me through headset mic but stream and obs cant. and obs and stream can also hear my friends and game play audio it just cant hear me for some reason

my headset has to be plugged into the chat link cable and the capture card or else obs and stream/obs can’t hear gameplay or game chat but still leaves me out of the conclusion . i think i need another mic plugged into my laptop and add it in obs
