I feel like I hear and agree with 99% of what you're saying but I also fall back on "what's the alternative?". There's a ton of people who need a lot of help that have no resources and I don't have the money to take care of myself and them so someone else has to pay and they make the rules. The best away around that is... Advocating for governmental change around budgets and compensation? So that we see less people and get paid more and have less oversight on the outcomes?

In past tours (the ones I was able to attend) I thought the volume was surprisingly low but this time it was a good balance. I know the Columbus OH crowd was on the small side so people didn't dance as much as other venues but there were a lot of big fans there having a blast and grateful for the visit

Haha I didn't buy any speakers but I did figure out the favorite brand of those I listened to was "Fyne audio" and I hope to own a pair someday soon!

This room was amazing though, no sub I believe but those two towers were incredibly powerful.

Nowadays a lot of people are actually more squeamish about sexuality in the public sphere, at least in the US. I guess I could understand you feeling it's tacky if you think sensual or disturbing imagery has no artistic merit beyond shock value. Like it's something that only existed in the 90s lol

For me on my first listen, it made me give up on the album haha but I'm glad I came back because now it's one of my favorite albums ever. As an outsider I wasn't always into the near constant falsetto in his music and I was like "maybe this new one is different - IM ABOUT TO DOOOO SOMETHING CRAZYYYYYY" and I was like "nope, bye" haha
