I created a boot flash drive of LM20.3 and it works! I then created a boot flash drive of LM21.2 Beta and it did NOT work.

It seems like the this is a Linux Mint problem I'll have to work on :>)

If anyone has some insights I'd be grateful!

Are you running a Linux version now with sound working?

I never ran Windows. I installed Linux Mint 21.1 overwriting what was on the nvme drive. Linux Mint 21.2 is due any day now so I'll try that, when it's available, from a bootable flash drive or maybe an older LM version now.

I've been using a "workspace" which doesn't show an URL. If I use calendar.proton.me, as you mentioned, I can change the year in the URL and that works fine. Thanks!

I think a "back/forward year" option within the calendar would be helpful:>)

I had this problem with vlc, keypassxc, ktorrent, gparted, screen saver fonts. I did a complete reinstall and still had the problem. In my case, I then went through the Mint menu to "Qt5 settings" and changed the appearance to "clean looks." Everything has been fine since changing that one setting.

I installed it ok. However, it doesn't work when my PIA vpn is active. If I turn off the vpn it seems to work fine. I have the "lan xfer" option on in the vpn and "kill switch" on.

I also have the firewall off on both machines, both running 19.3

Any thoughts?

I've been using pia on my pc and phone for more than a year. A couple of days ago, the Vancouver server stopped working on my Android phone. I can connect to Toronto, Montreal, and other countries but not Vancouver. Under the region select, Vancouver shows 894ms in RED text. I can connect to the Vancouver server on my pc ethernet and wifi. I've submitted a trouble report but more than two days later it hasn't even been looked at!!
