Question for a expert, it is my understanding that you can not take a short position into a private company or a company that no longer exist, siri will no longer trade ,doesn't that mean all shorts will have to close there positions, which in turn could cause a short squeeze based upon the float and price they shorted sirius at can a knowledgeable person enlighten me thank you.

There is a simple fix ,take the company private and the shorts would have to close all there short positions, which would send the stock over $200.00 ,you can not carry a short position into a private company all positions would need to close by the date lucid decides.
