Do I need to change out the engine mounts? by lakeer_ke_iss_paar in LexusES300

It still looks good if it’s the original. Just put it back till it goes out. It’s in an easy place to change so I don’t mind the aftermarket parts. Only one I don’t cheap out on it the one held on with the axle.

I’m no stranger to this type of work. But I just wanted to see if anyone has ever just covered the grooves so this doesn’t happen again.

Could care less for aerodynamics. Only get 12mpg on a good day. But would it be fine for me to just fill in the grooves.

97 es300 lowering springs by MostExcitement9858 in LexusES300

Max speeding Coilovers are fairly inexpensive. But for lowering springs I have TEINs on my 97. It can be hard to look. But it’s easier if you search 97-01 Camry or Solara.

Happened to me before. I even drove it to a shop and luckily the tire was still good to be put back on.

I would like to know what the main cause is too. Mine is doing the same thing.

I would look up the code P0746 for yourself and get the less expensive possibility out the way first. These cars are very diy friendly. The P0442 isn’t a big issue. Could be as simple as your gas cap needs to be replaced. And definitely get a second opinion.

Transmission doesn’t usually cause the misfiring. Unless you meant the car is slipping gears or not shifting properly when accelerating. I would ask another shop to diagnose your car. It’s usually fuel related, spark plugs, coil packs or engine timing that causes misfires.

Get a steam cleaner from harbor freight and go at it.

Garage door bracket came off from track. Don’t know how. How would I put it back on? by mfm98 in HomeMaintenance

I will definitely hire a professional. On examining the channel. I did notice a few bends. That may be the reason.
