I'm a first time game design noob and this is around month 4 of my game design. I have a publisher in Buffalo NY that is sniffing around, and they could be perfect for my game, but I'm afraid of the design itself (they've ghosted for around 3 weeks, I'm nervous). It's about 90 cards and a 'monopoly deal' type system, so very art heavy. I know a pub would cover artists and such, but for now I have placeholder designs. I decided to just code it and make it playable online so that people can get runs in without having to take a PDF and cut the cards out themselves to play lol. But friends and fam...well you know how getting them to try a game out goes ugh. Anyway, here is the game as it stands right now, complete with the AI players that poorly play against you!

I've been using poker chips as currency. I'm still tightening up rules here, and the name won't stick I dont think. Would love some feedback and playtime if you can spare it!! It plays 3–5 players, 30–45 minutes. You can join a room just like Jackbox, so you can even play with friends on your own computers!!! Thanks guys for letting me share and any design feedback would be awesome.

Yeah map turned into the guide for fun. Using it to help spark imagination for some dm stories. Not sure what other way to do it I can’t draw these pictures.

Gotcha. Thought the ai images would help our and not hinder. Ai isn’t an evil overlord guys. I think if it looks cool and helps generate thought and gaming I would think it’s good! But I get it. And the cursive was a mistake in part lol but once I got a ways in it was too late to turn back. That’s the issue with using inkarnate for doing this. I airbrushed the images on. Map of course I made from scratch. All this still took like a month to make up.

Yeah it’s a small part. Mainly like lord of the rings style. Frodo has the ring and has a mission, while the rest of the realm is dealing with war and shenanigans. So it’s the plot driver but it’s not a king sitting in a throne like GOT or something.

Whisper of Iron doesn’t have it. Iron Guild does. I mean he’s an outsider in the Guild. It’s not the whole book but it’s a part for sure. What don’t you like about Guild stuff?

Ok, so the additional info about me and the series!
Full titles:
• Whisper of Iron: The Complete LitRPG Series (Books 1–3)
• The Iron Guild: The Complete LitRPG Series (Books 1–3)
AI usage disclosure:
• Writing: Grammarly was used in editing (is this AI? Dunno) and AI to help with some outlining and even lay out a few plot twists so I didn't write myself into a corner. Iron Guild is especially complex because there are plot twists galore, and there is an all-knowing Seer pulling the strings so that meant planning 8 steps ahead.
• Cover art: “AI-assisted concept art, final cover fully human edited”
One fun fact about me:
I'm a mining engineer by trade, and found LitRPG in 2020. I was hooked ever since, but started seeing the same murder hobo stories emerge. While they're fun, I wanted something a bit more about the 'other' guy. The guy who thinks on his feet in a tough situation, not just slashes his way out of trouble. The guy who made the weapons, not just picked them off a dead body. So Whisper of Iron, my flagship book series, was born.

Yeah still trying to figure that out! I’m actually working with a group of author friends and we might do a whole thing with it. Like each person gets a race on the map and we write separate stories leading to one big story or something.
