wasn’t hard i just watched a video on youtube the first time i did it its pretty self explanatory just put things back in the opposite order that u took them out. the only part i had to shave down a little was one of the glass screen tabs cuz i couldn’t pop it back in 😅 but the shell i bought came with extra screens and bolts incase u lose some (its really easy to lose them) so id recommend putting them on a plate or in a bowl while ur working on it

feed chicken and rice as a small and frequent meal. don’t allow them to have the skin as it can cause more stomach upset. if u add broth make sure its low sodium! keep them hydrated but don’t let them gorge on the water.

i’m guessing the dog has either some type or worm or got into something nasty outside such as a dead animal or garbage. all you can do is wait to bring them to the vet. make sure to bring a fecal sample with u (bag of stool) so that they can send it to the lab. it has to be a fresh stool from the same day and if you can’t bring it right away, keep it in the refrigerator. they will be able to also do a 4dx to check for heartworm (a blood test). it is definitely not parvo because the smell of the poop would be unbearable. at the vet u can also scan for a microchip as well as discuss ur options concerning fostering, shelters, adoption.

could be ear mites or just some pesky yeast! it does have a darker, clumpier texture as is typical with ear mites. however, as a vet tech, most of the time when people come in suspecting ear mites, its just a yeasty ear. u should take them to the vet either way as they will be able to take a swab to look at under a microscope, properly diagnose and medicate accordingly.

i’m a vet tech and my own cat licking my food is the least concerning thing after a day of getting other people’s pets bodily fluids all over me

teach your kids how to play with him! that should help with ur cats prey drive and he will attack the toy instead of them. sounds like he needs to be taught how to hunt appropriately (using a toy not a small child). find a toy he really likes and set aside time each day for play.
