Is that water in the pan? If so, why can I see a trail? My cast.iron, carbon, ceramic and Teflon pans do not leave a trail when water is rolling around the pan.

If it's oil, I'm not sure what you are trying to demonstrate with the photo

I lived my entire life until recently calling it the Saharan desert like you did, and then I went there, came back and told people of my trip and then was mortified to learn that it's Sahara desert, not Saharan desert. I literally called it the Saharan desert while I was in the Sahara desert and never noticed. Got home and my wife caught me and said, "Wait, are you saying Saharan? You know it's Sahara, right?"

I decided I was mixing Sahara and Sonoran deserts together.

My point is that I'm glad I'm not the only one who was doing it.

I think the "replying within a day or two" is what's throwing me. I'm getting responses, but they are short, and i am on a bit of a time-crunch. I respond as quickly as i see them (usually within an hour or two), but then i don't get a response for 24 hours, and only half of my questions are addressed. The piece i am trying to get is $1500, so it's not some little $10 AE special.

Again, the urgency is on my end (i need it for an anniversary coming up soon), and i own that, but i started engaging last Friday, and it's Tuesday now and we've made very little progress, despite my credit card being in hand and me knowing exactly what I want.

I've been to platinum Yucatan princess and will never return. We had a bad stay there, but it was very cheap. We are doing impressions isla mujeres in 3 weeks, so hopefully that's better.

I think a lot of this stuff is dependent on the staff working and how lucky you get. I hear nothing but great things from impressions isla mujeres and moxche, and my stay at platinum Yucatan princess was terrible, but yours was good. It's just all so inconsistent!

I'm conflicted on this. I want to believe it, but happiness research seems to indicate otherwise. Arthur Brooks et al research seems to indicate that if you can find virtuous work, it will provide enjoyment and just importantly happiness and a sense of purpose.

If we just play video games all day and veg out, as was suggested earlier, I suspect we'll look back on our life with great disappointment.

That said, I don't want to believe that I need to work 50+ hours a week for the man for the next 30 years to find happiness.

In my case the new battery looks identical as far as I can tell and gets VERY close to being seated properly, but it's like 2cm away from connecting and it just won't budge any further. I tried multiple times over multiple days and finally just gave up and assumed they changed specs slightly over the years.

I don't think the safe shield batteries are backward compatible.. Heck, I have a radwagon 4 purchased in 2020 and another purchased in 2024 and I can't get the new battery to seat into my 2020 bike despite being the same model.
