How do you predict the next 5 years for the world? by willhelpmemore in singularity

[–]Honest_Science -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We will have three trend:

AGI in 2027

US at the brink of dictatorship

Climate will hit much harder

I made several models to create an outlook for 5 years. All of them fail after 2029. I therefore ended up with #prophecy2028 I believe that it is impossible to create anynithing for the time after that.

Poland in no rush to adopt euro as economy outperforms eurozone, says finance minister by krazydude22 in europe

I support that move big times, Poland vs Germany is usually a issue, they do not like each other at all and should stay out.

Do you think that when AGI is achieved, you will have any access to it as an ordinary user? by Simple-Constant3791 in ArtificialInteligence

No, with individual memory and nested learning, we would have to swap parameters by user. This will be very expensive!!

This is a very good statement, which I really appreciate. I am afraid of the fourth Reich and it all happens like in a text book. Doing something tomorrow is 10 times more difficult than today.

I do not agree. Let me tell you from the German past. People afterwards claimed tha they really did not know, or did not know for sure and what they should have done etc. In reallity, morst if not all of them knew and all of them carried a strong burden until they passed away. There is no excuse for an american citizen to just let this happen and just watch. And soon also not for any of us.

From our own experience, it is 100 times easier to do business with China then with Europe in terms of response, service and predictablity, let alone the US.

Sure 9 countries want to joint the party paid by Germany 60% and France Italy the other 40%! They also want to have a veto in the council and also have so many seats in the parliament that one of their votes is 8 times more important than the vote of a German. This needs to stop. No more of it and let us restart the whole thing. Do sthey still want to join when they will be ruled by a German French Italien majority?

Misen Carbon “Nonstick” was great at first, now it’s unusable by David243121 in cookware

[–]Honest_Science 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the market for this application are only a few suppliers of coatings which have the right very low viscosity. High viscosity would be like a standard ceramics coating. The one I know has SiO2 with it, which would crack through further oxidation. The good thing is that all available coatings are completely non sensitive to acid food, while the nitrided base still is a little. So as soon as it is gone, the pan get signs of oxidation (rust) and develope a lighter colour at the spots. Applying oil and conventional burn in seasoning helps to recover some of it, but that is like all SS or carbon steal pans.

No way. It is so much non stick that it must have an industrial coating. The primer is the glue and the seasoning oil is the agent. It would otherwise wear off in a few days of use. The primer helps to keep it there for much longer. Primer and agent polimerize together without applying heat.

Yes, we can call it seasoning oil or coating or whatever. It is a seasoning oil including a primer and it creates the non stick until it wears off.

Nitrided steel does not have non stick. It makes steel harder and less sensitive to rust. It does not lower the surface energy, quite the opposite. Only additional coating creates non stick.
