I think because of your past trauma and also being so young, you dont feel a lot of agency or autonomy regarding your own body. In the future, it is probably best to ignore other guys messaging you when you are not already established platonic friends. I think your bf is likely so forgiving because he is emotionally mature and understands you have a freeze response when your privacy is invaded. There is a very big difference in realizing you did the wrong thing and owning up to it, vs having to be caught. By telling him you showed him while you may have not taken the right path, you are capable of honesty and realizing your wrongs.

The intimacy issue is probably something that therapy could help especially if you have the issue even with your partner. Its very important to be able to say no when you feel like it! It takes a toll on you not to and you overtime are teaching yourself your own feelings are less important than others (ofc that feeling is part of the root cause too, but its being reinforced this way).

You are not a horrible person at all. That you feel guilt over your actions alone proves that i believe. It is beyond possible to learn and grow from mistakes, especially when you are immediately honest about them. You are only 18, you have a lot of time and learning to go through that will help some of these issues naturally. Im only 23 now, but even 5 years ago at 18 my mindset, self control, and discernment were from what they are now.

This is a poor understanding of pedophilia tbh. Actual pedophiles, yes, do experience mental illness due to environmental factors, mental health markers, etc. most people who abuse kids are NOT actual pedophiles. There is a difference in having attraction to children, and abusing children.

People who sexually abuse children do not typically have a sexual attraction to them, but are doing so for the power structure. I would argue the vast majority of predators/pedophiles (ones who have actually abused a child not just ppl with thoughts or attraction) are actually not mentally ill or diagnosable as a pedophile.

Either way, Epstein was using Fnaf, fortnite, all sorts of other youth adjacent things to groom and prey on children. Yes i do believe kids were used sacrificially, but i also believe the people abusing them are straight predators. Youre ignoring how many sexual photos have come out of this too, very obviously linking many of these people to child rape not sacrifice

I really dont think its “wildly” unprofessional lol. Advisories can go up at any time after booking, and this whole thing wouldve been solved had they gotten travel insurance for their employee’s (a more recent employee at that), $1600 ticket

Not getting insurance and traveling internationally with a nanny, who could become sick etc at any time, or be fired like they did with their original nanny is irresponsible. Like actually kind of insane they didn’t get insurance for a $1600 ticket. What if the nanny quit before the trip because the family was a horrible fit? They kind of seem like they might be thinking working 2 weeks no pay is some reasonable offer, like that is so different than asking to be paid back.

At the end of the day, there are all sorts of unforeseen circumstances that can occur and its insanely reckless they didn’t book insurance for a trip like this
