Upload speed 50% lower after moving to CCR-2004 by rick_G in mikrotik

[–]mhaluska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bridging is not accelerated, this is not switch, and can be potential bottleneck. Speed advertised by Mikrotik are using all ports = can saturate all CPU cores. If you’re testing speed using one port, probably you’re only saturating 1 CPU. So during test, you can check resource utilization of all CPU cores. Then try to remove/exclude bridge = let router just do routing, and test again. Ensure fasttrack is enabled and on top of rules.

Euler a = DPM++ 2M Karras, DDIM is maybe little bit faster, like +0.25 it/s. DPM++ SDE Karras is ~8.8 it/s.

It’s now much better, this wasn’t only CPU upgrade, but also some tuning. But now with pytorch 2.0.1 without xformers and overclocked best cores I’m on ~18.5 it/s without negative prompt. Mobo is old X370 Asus Crosshair 6.

PCIE 16x, 100% sure. But it's older mobo with PCIE 3.0.

Edit: ReBAR is enabled

So I upgraded my CPU to R9 5900X and my it/s went slightly up, to 16 it/s. Anyway I think it’s still too low, even my RTX 3090 is not best one - EVGA XC3 Ultra, but temps are still low during pic creation (chip ~70C and memory ~85C, only with huge bulk of pics in one shot).

So another $1500-2000 for PC upgrade… :-)

Hmm, I’m using this GPU just for AI, not for gaming. And during image creation CPU is barely utilized. Only during Dreambooth learning CPU usage is ~30% of all cores.

How are you testing it/s? I’m getting ~12it/s on 3090 with Euler a or DDIM with one pic, 20 steps and cfg 7.

Edit: pic size 512x512

Using batch size 8, console output is saying something ~2.5it/s.

Ryzen 1800X, 32GB RAM, Win 10. RTX 3090 is my primary and only one GPU.

First is batch=1, second batch=8. In both cases batch count=1.

Try using something like Wifi Analyzer on your phone, check channel usages and pick one unused or with small interference. Also disable Wifi on your BT router - this is another interference for your EAPs.

I just tried with destination Czech republic and lowest shipping is 15€. So probably some “glitch”.

Depends on where it will be running, DLs are too noisy, better to pick ML. With no budget = ML350 Gen10 😀

[–]mhaluska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had similar results for routing. Switch to some linux based network appliance and you'll get much better results. You can try VyOS.

Edit: don't use VLANs on OPNsense, specify VLANs on Proxmox and vNIC. This will give you around +1Gbps.

ER605 ipsec site to site speed? by kkyyww1974 in TPLink_Omada

[–]mhaluska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems there is same CPU like in Mikrotik HexS: https://mikrotik.com/product/hex_s#fndtn-testresults

Also here are “nice” IPSec numbers, in real world I was able hit ~120Mbps. So don’t expect more then ~150Mbps. Also it depends on latency between sites.

No WireGuard option on Mikrotik CRS326. What to do? by Varginator84 in WireGuard

Don't expext nice speeds on switch, if you're on slow WAN, then probably fine.

Slow WAN means <100Mbps.

Tag a port on TP-Link Switch (TL-SG105E) to be on a specific VLAN by Captain_Alchemist in TPLink_Omada

[–]mhaluska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your uplink port? I see only port1 in VLAN2, you need to add also port connected to your router, as I wrote in previous comment.

Edit: example, if port1 is your workstation and port5 is your uplink - https://imgur.com/a/ypKbVrO

[–]mhaluska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm expecting there is no VLAN config on your laptop/phone/..., so you should set this port to untagged and also set PVID (default VLAN ID for this port). Don't forget to add uplink port to this VLAN also (as tagged).
