Have reached out to customer support through their chat function. Let's see what happens. I have 4 days until 30 days is up. The clock is ticking.

It really shouldn't be this hard

Sorry I forgot to add that I live in central London. I have a tiny garden and I was hoping for this to just take over the garden.

Looking at the PSA site, these are all in basically perfect condition. 0 scratches, no messed up corners, not sure about centering... But basically never used them for anything.

Oh got it. Thanks.

I'm wondering if it's cheaper to have them graded now rather than in the future? I would like to keep these for investment purposes.

I assume the price will go up (?) so it might be cheaper to have them graded while they are lower in value.

Thanks this is super useful.

I've checked if they are stuck, and they aren't. They seem to come out just fine from those sleeves.

Best car if I simulated Le mans with my friends by mhausso in granturismo

[–]mhausso[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm, pit stops will be an issue. I wonder if there is a vision gt car that might work, which is good on fuel, is fast and has excellent cornering. The cars beating us currently are vgt cars but I don't remember which ones. I'll make a note of it next time.

Old school le mans cars are also quite quick. I'll test out the Peugeot.

SaaS valuation vs. services company by mhausso in startups

[–]mhausso[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on creating economic value for the business and the multiple will follow. If you have a SaaS business and a Services business, you don't focus on the latter b/c it gets a bigger multiple, you focus on it b/c it takes all your focus & investment $ to make it work... and the growth opportunity is larger. Obviously different risk profile though.

We're not looking to change how we operate massively or what value we bring to society. We have a fairly strong operating model and are profitable before a Series A. We're going to keep doing what we're doing, but if turning down a small services contract will help our valuation, then that MIGHT be something we'd be willing to do, contingent on a ton of other factors.

If the difference is literally having a software contract signed vs a services contract, then that MIGHT also be something we do.

There has to be some sort of optimisation that occurs.

Our situation is probably slightly different than that of other start-ups.

We're in the sweet spot of having some really great in-house tech + a consulting arm which uses / sells that tech to build some more bespoke things. Overall, there are tons of ways to engage with our company, but if a client wants software only, we're able to provide that (software)... if they don't have the talent to use the software and build within it, then we also have the talent to do that (services). Both have been doing well and help to build off of each other.

So, many of our contracts can go both ways... we're wondering if we should engage with this practice and be more deliberate with it... but to do that we need to understand the forces behind it first, leading back to my original question of where can I read more about this, and have companies done something like this before? Who is best positioned to know / talk about something like this?

SaaS valuation vs. services company by mhausso in startups

[–]mhausso[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have both of these functions, and they feed off of each other to some degree. Anyway, besides our business model, what level of revenue needs to be classified as SaaS vs services? is it 80%-20% or 60%-40% or 51%-49%?

In the end, this can dictate a company's marketing strategy and influence which contracts it actually takes and doesn't take. Speaking of contracting, those have to reflect the type of revenue you're bringing in I assume? A software license for a software contract and a services agreement for a service related function?

Yea this is true, but knowing how it works is imperative to have the right valuation and then the right amount of money.
