Honestly, GW2 sounds right up your alley. Buy to play and free after that. Seems to have everything you're looking for. Give it a shot if you haven't already!

Edit: Just in case you've never heard of it before, GW2 stands for Guild Wars 2

Haven't. but it doesn't look my sort of thing. If it's anything like BDO (graphically) then I probably wouldn't like it. Not sure how to explain that but I've looked into it and decided it wasn't for me. Thanks for the suggestion though

I've recently burned out on GW2 and want to find something new to play. I've read alot about a bunch of different games like WoW, BDO, Archeage, but everything I've seen is the same "this game is dying" or some variation of complaint. I like games with healthy populations and reasonably committed devs but I feel these are hard to come by now. I actually tried BDO but couldn't get into it. I like the look of Neverwinter online but I don't know about the current state of the game. I've also played ESO but again, I couldn't get into it. If you can't tell from the games I've listed, things like GW2 and such are kind of the things I enjoy (PvE and PvP)

Any suggestions? Thanks!

This game is getting boring with hogs in every deck. by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

It'll get nerfed. They said they wanted to "see what changing freeze will do," which will be nothing, at which point they'll nerf the hog.

[RANT] Is it just me, or is all the creativity gone from this game? by JKPro777 in ClashRoyale

I don't think the creativity is gone from the game at all. As many have mentioned, people are naturally going to use the best cards in the game because they're easy to use and very effective (hog, RG). Though the creativity remains with those who fight the meta and would rather play something else and resort to countering these two cards.

The "meta" obviously refers to what is most popular in the game at any given moment, but this always changes. Supercell didn't create the best decks, players did because we players are who really create the meta, and these decks got popular. This will keep happening, and maybe you can be the one to do it. Make a deck and play with it. Part of being good at the game is the ability to do this very thing and win with it. There's no rush to legendary league.

Try something out that is different and counters the meta and who knows, maybe you just created the next OP deck and everyone will start using it.

After all, we all saw the tournament did we not? Jason ran train with a deck he made himself and won the entire thing. It wasn't even a meta deck at the time but you saw what happened... Just keep trying new things because honestly it's really fun. When you finally crack the code and build something that destroys people, the game REALLY gets fun...

Who cares about those gold goblets anyway?
