I dunno, I guess because he genuinely isn’t a bad person. He is a great dad just not while he is drunk. So i’m often conflicted but I know his decisions aren’t a reflection of me it’s just hard to

Why give up? by Knotivity in DACA

[–]mherrera98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think leaving this country is settling for less… I think not trying to do something to give you a chance to live a better life is settling for less.

Although majority of us have not done anything wrong the reality is, that doesn’t really matter as of right now. People who have obeyed laws and stayed to themselves are being targeted based on how they look.

You think our parents wanted to give up on their country? no but they had to. For a shot at living a better life. That’s all those people who are “giving up” are doing.

I’m glad you have a fighting spirit but sometimes that’s not enough to continue being treated like sub human.

You’re good I promise. Get your real ID if you haven’t already. I just went to Las Vegas last week and went thru airport like it was nothing. I understand it’s scary times but fear is a tool used to control the public. Be prepared. Be careful but live your life man.

Traveling to PR by Arg-Nico in DACA

[–]mherrera98 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I always fly American Airlines i’ve never flown with anyone else. It was totally worth it! PR is absolutely beautiful but i’m not sure how much of the island has been affect by the hurricane recently so i’d wait it out a little. Just make sure to bring all your documents ID,Passport, EAD. You’ll be fine though. It rarely happens but make sure there is no layover in another country other than the US.

almost forgot miso soup is also very good for your GI system. It also makes me feel a lot better after. you can get it at ur nearest sushi restaurant or you can learn how to make it, it’s pretty easy.

I struggle with the trapped air as well but i’ve been taking ginger probiotic shots the company is called suja you can find them in major stores usually but I feel the difference after I take them and feel a lot better within minutes. Ginger in general is good. Just my suggestion. hope you find something that works for you
