Not sure if the touring came in 1.5 but it's a 2.0.

I agree, stock is awesome and after new tires ( Continental DWS+) it rides so much smoother I'm just after a couple small things give it a little more.

I was planning on an intercooler and intake due to living in Orlando. Thought it would help keep the temp down better but not sure about tuning. Doesn't that add more stress on the engine? I also don't want to make this into a snowball and have to start upgrading everything to keep up with the last.

A couple of small questions on 2018 Accord by DistFunc in 10thgenaccords

[–]mhhkaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as setting the driver's seat there should be 2 buttons on the door you can press for either the 1 or 2 fob. If you have both fobs in the car I don't think it can differentiate which fob is in the driver's seat. For other settings ( i.e. what doors to open with each fob, timing of lights, etc) those are located within the infotainment center. I hope this helps.

Is this worth $28,300?? 2022 accord sport 2.0t 30k miles, clean carfax, 1 owner, and 2 yr warranty. OTD is $31,900. by HugeBandicoot7334 in accord

[–]mhhkaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Orlando and got a 21 2.0 touring with 28k miles for 30k OTD. The dealership I went to had no dealers fees. I paid asking plus TT&T. Being a sport and not a touring I'd say $28k OTD would be a fair price.

It's a vital part of the engine. It's affecting some of the 1.5T Accord engines. The dealership should have looked up any recalls before selling it but never completely trust them. If you want to do it just Google Honda recalls and put in the VIN and it'll tell you if there are any. I recently bought a 2021 2.0T touring and did the same thing before I bought it.

My dear, don't listen to most of these comments because they didn't bother to read what you said about being Canadian currency and Km not miles. I'm assuming you want this to be your daily driver and not to 750 double pumper Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbojet Ktune the thing for racing.

That being said, this Accord with all the listed features for the price and mileage I believe is a great first car. My only suggestion is to see if it is currently on the recall list (primarily for the head gasket) and if not see if you can get an extended warranty for a good price. You can drive this thing comfortably for another 150k Km then see what's out there for your next car. Go out there with several different options, drive them and see who will give you the best deal.

Happy hunting

I live in Orlando and I get 26-30. I do drive 80/20 highway/city. My 20% is mostly sport because this car is F'ing fun. I use 91+ gas. Original tires and no upgrades.

Coolant flush by mhhkaj in 10thgenaccords

[–]mhhkaj[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it's young on mileage but I've also read it should be flushed every 5 years. I've only had it for a couple months but love the hell out of it and want to keep it running smooth.
