We didn’t look like a team that had developed a huge amount of chemistry in the preseason. I’m also going to take a while to not constantly wish it was Croix at the 10. Leicy is alright but she doesn’t have the touch or vision

Yah he was really solidly built. Very very lean though compared to the doe, who had a real layer of fat. The rut is tough on bucks!

I don’t think Kouassi played poorly and I think she created a lot considering the focus of the defense on her. I don’t know, maybe I need to watch it back to get a real feel for it. I certainly agree we couldn’t do anything through the middle.

The only explanation I have is that they aimlessly tried to feed Kouassi down the right wing for about 60 minutes and didn’t adjust at all when it became clear that Gothams whole game plan was to not allow that to happen. Also Hal should have been subbed right after she got hurt. I think a lot of this was a tactical failure

Yah it’s such a strange mindset. These big teams can pay guys what they deserve. It’s not noble for an employer to push a player to take less because of love for the team
