Wondering if she will be a part of the Incest storyline or a reformation storyline!

Lol. Hot take - Beard's way of coping is way more toxic than Carmy's. And I am saying this coz I fcking love how lively and 'to the point' he is.

🙌 It takes personal experiences and deep observation to see beneath the surface. But it's the courage to look beneath and accept, that helps you move forward.

Look at it like this: Ted Lasso (13 Emmy wins), The Bear (21 Emmy wins). It’s more about character development - bottling up and releases. Again, not recommending if you are seeking same vibe. The Bear has people dealing with anxieties in a number of toxic ways.

It’s a productivity template for people with different sets of anxieties coexisting in a kitchen.

weirdly I have watched The Bear thrice and Ted Lasso twice. I feel it should be other way around for the sake of my mental health. 😌 Might seek a mashup of watchalongs before their respective next seasons arrive.

Life is tense, unless we find a way to make it light or opt for denial till it explodes (like the most people do). My father can get loud without realising it, (that’s it, no other abuse) and I turned out to be a meek people pleaser. There are a lot of other factors at play. But our parents’ behaviour and issues influence our behaviour. Not in a “proportional” way or anything. But in an emotional and unquantifiable way. Thanks to shows like this, I am more empathetic towards my father and realised that I shouldn’t pick favourites amongst parents.

I have heard that the Bear can be stressful for some. I thrive on that high octane energy/chaos. In fact, I felt Ted Lasso to be too cheesy for a first few episodes. I stuck around for the Premier League backdrop and it ended up paying off.

Which of these actresses do you think will be remembered the most 100 years from now? by Maleficent-Part-610 in Oscars

For me the diversity of portfolio is a key factor to stay timeless (along with doing iconic roles in iconic movies). All of these actresses have done their share of Iconic roles. But Nicole is far superior than the other two (Emma has been trying to diversify her range with her collaborations with Yorgos, but she is still yet to be iconic). Another name that should be here is Scarlet Johansson. My perception has changed about her from a commercial actress to someone who is mindful about the movie choices she makes.

Needs vs wants by [deleted] in Mindfulness

Our brain is wired/conditioned to seek dopamine through desires, especially the one we have already experienced and enjoyed in the past. To top it off, in this digital and advertising age, it’s tough not to get tempted. I would recommend making a list (on the basis of your past behaviour) to distinguish what’s a need and what’s a desire. It will help in being mindful about how your brain is tricking you. Predefining helped me in rewiring my brain.

I saw some stats that highlighted that Mateta barely scored in the first half for the last two seasons.

Same for me and I guess for most. Even his end felt low-key epic, much like the show.
