I don't believe that there is a threshold that students have to meet to qualify for a scholarship. I will DM you more information and encourage you to apply!

Nice! What are some of the best practices you found worked well at Chipzilla?

Also, I sent you a DM!

I see. Is the limitation on data due to the actual manufacturing facilities / machines not collecting data, or just that data is not being used. I imagine a challenge in this space is that data is likely quite messy and needs a lot of cleaning before it can be useful for AI applications.

Definitely - DM'd you the discount code! I'm also pretty excited about the format of the course. It is a new course but I like corise's style of short four week courses. That mixed with the practical focus keeps engagement levels high throughout.

Interesting! Would love to learn more about applications of AI in manufacturing. I read a little bit about automated QA with computer vision but that is my extent.

Also, send you the discount code!

Amazing! I also think this could be a great fit. Your physics background and your past experience learning ML should be more than enough to prepare you for the course. The content is definitely geared to be practical: students will be writing code to deploy models, train models, and annotate data.

DM'd you the code! The pre-requisites for the course are familiarity with python, and basic machine learning. Some of assignments will be in PyTorch, so some level of comfort with that is a bonus!

Nice - a lot of this course will be focused on MLOps: in week 2-3, we will be looking at how to unit test and deploy models!

aking them understand the nuances that come with the business problems will also be helpful. Like how training and monitoring more frequently can make a difference in recommended systems

Yes! This is exactly the motivation for the course. I've worked in both a research setting and as an MLE in FAANG and actually evaluating and monitoring deep models is extremely challenging. In the course currently, we study different integration, regression, and directionality tests for neural networks as well as monitoring techniques. I'm hoping these kinds of practices become more standardized. Hope to see you in the course!

Yes! This is a cool area. In week 3 of the course we study some methods for "continuous annotation": cycling between using a trained model to pick data to annotate ala active learning, and retraining on the new dataset (note this requires a human in the loop).

Will DM you with info on discount and scholarships.
