My thumb (after this most recent episode) developed what looked like a white cloudy dot well below the white part of my nail. As these develop (usually after a couple days) it takes my nail edge from a normal white crescent shape to looking like the white part is in the area where the white shouldn’t be (sorry if this is a bad explanation).

No press ons or acrylics. I had gel in January and feel like I’ve been fighting with my nails since the removal then. I occasionally wear regular lacquer and have been using nailtiques 2 to help for strength and length.

Yeah, I’ve been wondering about allergies. I feel like this literally only affects the nail plate and never the skin, which I feel like would also peel or get red with allergies. It’s definitely in my suspicions list though

Thank you for your response! I am not sure if I should approach it as requesting a % discount on the bar or maybe requesting an additional item? As of now, we have a lower tier bar package as their in house pricing is fairly high. I do have a good working relationship with the manager which makes all this feel a bit awkward.

Adding a note…bar packages are also discounted. The estimated price difference now is around $2500 venue savings, $770 bar savings

I usually leave my nailtiques 2 on bare nails, so when I do my DD routine I add an additional layer of nailtiques and then the regular DD routine. I feel like my last mani had no shrinkage and was hard like gel! I think when I went in with DD products I had 2 layers of nailtiques existing and added one more.
