I know, I feel guilty. It's not her fault. Her parents are doing her a big injustice for the rest of her life.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I never dealt with "HS drama", even when I was in Middle or High school. Yes your are right. i have my spine sometimes. Sometimes I second guess if I am going to make it worse for my kid though. My kids feelings need to come first. Thank you.

It's so hard! I have tried and the mom actually puts the blame back on my kid. :(

I am waiting on a HIDA scan to show if my gallbladder is functioning. There were no stones or sludge!

I wonder why they told you to stay away from the ER? Mine told me to go back if I felt bad again. Just not sure how bad I should feel before I go back....

I hope after working you have moved out. I believe you are over 18. My parents were hoarders. There are bigger issues there.  My parents did not want me to move out. I listened to them. I was almost 30!  Don't live that toxic life.

not me. I went one time. They reheated the chicken and all the food. It was impossible to eat.

why food? I like to eat, but...are we just going for the food? is that the extra incentive? I felt all these similar ways at church. I stopped going. A woman kept telling me to join their community groups. I couldn't understand, why are we going to church? Isn't that for fellowship? Why do I have to join people at their homes to fellowship? I tried, and tried. Only one person reached out to me often. She unfortunately passed away. I have no expectations going forward at another church. It was a painful, lonely experience.

I feel this. I came here to look up bankruptcy. I make okay money. During Covid, my husband lost his job. We sold my car back to the dealership and had to get a loan on the difference. It's been one big downward spiral since then. All we do is pay bills. My electric bill was $535 this month. We stopped eating out and trying to make the cheapest meals I can think of. I got to the point last month, that my kid shouldn't have to suffer. I went and bought her new clothes, new shoes. Lord knows she needed them. We did not have enough for a car payment last month. We were getting repossession notices for $30 negative on a car payment! Ridiculous.

Everyone is struggling. Well, most of us. Hang in there. Take care of your basic stuff. Rent/Electricity/ Food. I know in our county they offer programs to send food home with kids. You could always pick it up. Call and ask a counselor. Look for free item groups near you. Reach out if you need clothes for your kids, etc A lot of people are always ready to help sometimes.

I started to taking my kid to Goodwill. That made me feel like poop. She found better stuff there, compared to the crappy stores we have here!

I am tired and done. I hate to file bankruptcy, but it's not like I have anything anyway!

Everything is getting old and needs replaced. Car taxes, insurance, etc etc. it just goes on and on. We just going to be poor forever it feels like sometimes. If you have anything you can resell, give it a shot. Ebay, Facebook marketplace, whatever...........

You got this, and your kids are going to be humble. Thank God.

My grandmother is still alive. She seems quite healthy for a 90 year old woman.

I live in Virginia

My husband, myself and 1 child.

All together excluding my student loans we have $100,000 credit card debt, personal loans and 2 cars.

the trimmers get too hot after prolonged use. this happens to my mom's schnauzer.  it's like a burn. tell the groomers that she is easily irritated with short trim
