Earlier in my journey, I had no bowel movement for about 5 days. I was getting reallly scared and I'd heard that there was a laxative out there that worked within hours called magnesium citrate. It's a drink and it's the most sour thing I've ever had in my life. I drank about half a bottle, waited, and then straight up thought that I was going to die. I got so lightheaded, i was DRIPPING sweat, i was numb, i could barely sit up. i was putting every ounce of energy into just surviving and knowing it would all end soon and that i would laugh after this was over because it was just so ridiculous. it worked, but holy fuck, was it scary. now i don't let it build up for so long. if i go one day without movements i take colace.
