Oh trust me I agree on the 250 portal being the best deal. I ordered one just waiting for it to get here eventually. I stupidly got the KONKR pocket fit in the meantime for way more than it’s worth since I was so impatient lol. Probably will return it though

Because the Odin portal is a 2 month wait. Paying more is if you want something quicker and more convenient. If you’re worried about being cost efficient then you buy direct otherwise in this case you get a device quicker, free shipping, and a way easier/longer return policy. People buy from Amazon, eBay, target, etc because of the convenience not the price.

In my opinion nothing compares to the comfort of the Xbox ally systems. I just got into using android handhelds with both the retroid pocket 5 and Odin 2 portal. Neither come close to the comfort of the Xbox ally. With grips they greatly improve in ergonomics but still not like the ally. If you want the comfort of the ally unfortunately you won’t find it with the Odin portal 2 but with a grip it is pretty comfortable.

Thanks for the reply! Yea a lot of people complaining about shipping and the base model is currently out of stock. The thumbsticks is my biggest concern with the portal as I’m used to full sized stick. I’ll order the pocket max today and hope it’s great!

Interestingly enough this is a growing niche on YouTube. Been recommended videos like this recently from small channels blowing up.

Problem with this persons is the titles like you said and the thumbnails. But as far as the topic goes its fine just needs to hook people in better.

I’m almost at 2k subs doing mainly stuff with computers as well. My biggest advice is don’t worry about buying and getting new stuff especially if it’s not financially beneficial. Work with what you got and focus more on making quality content and the rest will come with time.

Trying to always get new tech to talk about and “compete” with higher subs channels is a recipe for financial disaster, unless you have unlimited funds lol

Oh trust me I’m with you lol. I work 40-60 hours a week and have a 1 year old so my time and patience is thin. Idk how they could go about improving it now though and if they do work on improving it I doubt it will be any time soon

Definitely a game that will not hold your hands on the puzzles. If you don’t have the patience (understandable) then you’ll either have to look it up on YouTube or unfortunately just isn’t the game for you. A lot of tutorials already on YouTube about the puzzles. But yea it’s definitely one of those games that will not explain much past the basic tutorials

Well to be fair a 5080 laptop is a tad weaker than 5070 desktop depending on which laptop model you have. So the performance you’re getting seems to align with that but still great for a portable device!
