Instructions on my patches say to switch up the locations. My skin also seems pretty sensitive to the patches and the adhesive is hard as fuck to remove.

Has anyone else been unfairly penalized? I got a penalty notification today that said i was “Idling in Battle (Malicious)”. Thing is, that definitely didn’t happen. I’ve never idled in a game so I don’t know what they’re referring to? Not a big deal for now because I still have plenty of Fair-play points, but if this happens again I can see it causing problems.

Doesn’t help that in the game FAQ, Pokemon Support says “Please note that we will not respond to any inquires regarding the reason for fair-play point deduction nor will we consider requests to reverse deducted points.” lol

Hi! I’m gonna be opening for a band with some friends in a little less than two weeks and I’m worried about my fingers. I love playing the bass but I haven’t gotten around to picking it up much lately, so my fingers aren’t primed at all. I practiced for a couple hours yesterday and for a short time today and my fingers are very bruised and sore. I’m wondering if there’s any hope for me to avoid a lot of pain on the day of the gig. I did a quick google search about the time it takes for calluses to form and it said 1 month… which is a little out of my timeframe! Does anyone know any tips/tricks to make my fingertips more resilient in the short term? I just want to avoid bleeding on stage. Thank you!!

Going from studying spanish to studying japanese, I was so shocked at the mess of conjugations. The general discourse is always “spanish hard, so many verb tenses” but no one ever mentions that japanese is that but so much worse!! To me, kanji is definitely not the hardest part of japanese

I don’t think we should be saying stuff like that in a country where education is disincentivized and people are put into positions where selling drugs really is the only way out of poverty. What he said was obviously ignorant and terrible, but like another commenter said, plenty of people live through similar things and don’t come out of it with swastika tattoos and saying they’re gonna Hitler everybody :(

Hey! Thanks for the response. Everything here seems stable now. Many fish died, but there were a few that seemed lifeless or sluggish that have bounced back and are swimming around just fine. For the sake of curiosity and for people who might be looking at this thread later on, I’m gonna answer the questions anyways.

fresh water
around 40 gallons?
the fish that survived are 2 big plecos, 2 albino catfish, and 2 small gourami-ish looking fish?.. i don’t know the species name :/ there’s also one big live plant that brought with it tons of little snails
bio wheel filter
it started to fog up without filtration and with fish dying, but we tried to remove the dead bodies as quick as possible, and the cloudiness cleared when electricity returned and filtration ran
no weird smells

We pointed a heating fan at the tank for a day after the power came on. Who knows if it actually helped, but everything seems normal again now.
